Silent Crane Form
NOTE: Silent Crane form isn't a martial art in the most common sense of the word. While most Exalted martial arts are designed to slay either thousands of weak opponents or one very strong opponent (or, in the case of Siddy MA, thousands of very strong opponents), martial arts are also an effective means of control, focus and metidation. Silent Crane form is meant to convey this, hence the charm tree will be somewhat short and entirely noncombat.
Motion In Stillness Approach</b>
<b>Cost: 2 motes\\ Duration: Instant\\ Type: Supplemental\\ Min. Martial Arts: 1\\ Min Essence: 1\\ Prereqs: None
Sometimes, when calm cannot be found without to achieve a certain task, that calm can be found within. The character may make any noncombat roll without modifiers for distractions or locational difficulties; examples might be treating a wound under duress of an archery attack, or scribing calligraphy in the middle of a rainstorm (a common training exercise). Note: This can't make the character unaffected by the world or situation around him, nor can it prevent that situation somehow damaging or interfering with the materials involved in his task; the paper in the latter example will become wet, and he still stands the chance of being hit by an arrow in the former. It just ensures that he can attempt the task at hand without being distracted.
Warming Sunrise Prana</b>
<b>Cost: 3 motes\\ Duration: One day\\ Type: Simple\\ Min. Martial Arts: 2\\ Min Essence: 2\\ Prereqs: Motion In Stillness Approach
The Crane draws great strength from the first rays of the rising sun, finding purpose and focus with it's rays. The character uses this Charm upon waking, performing a series of slow, sedate motions that last for a minute; upon doing so, the character may double the amount of Willpower gained from rolling Conviction when they rise. Also, an option available to the storyteller would be to grant the character a piece of knowledge that he came upon during his reflection of the beginning of his day; this knowledge shouldn't be too advantageous, nor of worldbreaking importance, but a little nugget of wisdom that might come in useful to the character in the day.
Mind's-Eye Opening Technique</b>
<b>Cost: 5 motes\\ Duration: One Scene\\ Type: Supplemental\\ Min. Martial Arts: 2\\ Min Essence: 2\\ Prereqs: Motion In Stillness Approach
The crane is aware of things it cannot see or hear, simply through listening to the senses inside as well as out. The character using Mind's-Eye Opening Technique gains extra dice to any Perception-related rolls equal to his Martial Arts score. Characters using this charm tend to be focussing on internal processes more than swift reaction, however, so all Wits-related rolls are made at -1 dice unless directly relating to a Perception roll bolstered by this Charm.
White-Feather Virtue</b>
<b>Cost: 3 motes\\ Duration: Instant\\ Type: Reflexive\\ Min. Martial Arts: 3\\ Min Essence: 1\\ Prereqs: Motion In Stillness Approach
Through a central focus and confidence in one's enlightenment and knowledge, a character with this Charm can be sure that in times of true need, his beliefs and morals will not fail him; likewise, he whose passions are strong may focus them into the task at hand, with the proper application. When called upon to make a Virtue roll, the character may add or subtract a number of dice from the roll equal to his permanent Essence.

Wow, I really like where this tree seems to be going. It's nice to see some charms dealing with the noncombat benefits of martial arts. =) - SilverMeerKat
- It's getting pokey trying to work out what each charm should do, and make sure that they can't be utterly abused by combat monkies. But hey, it'll get there. :) Thanks for the support. - SteelAngel
