Changes

Body Weapon Technique: Now Permanent, allowing the Lunar to commit 1 mote to cause Lethal Damage with all unarmed attacks, through growth of claws, quills, etc, which does not interfere with manual dexterity in any way.

Grasping Pseudopod Method: Now has Monkey Arm Style as a Prerequisite.

Additional Notes

These charms were largely left alone, as they worked fine, Grasping Peudopod really didn't need Startling Tentacle as a Pre-requisite.
Both Tentacle Spear Strike, and Weapon-Snatching Coils were made Evolutions of Startling Tentacle Attack, for the obvious fact, that they are the same type of shape-shifting, merely a different application.

Comments

Body Breaking Kata always seemed vastly, vastly expensive to me. It's a long way down the tree, doing for 5m what solars get for 1m. I know lunars are supposed to be less powerful, and I -also- know you're not trying to rewrite anything that doesn't really need it... but I like this project, and I'm noting that I personally think it's so ineffecient (and hard to get to) as to be useless currently.

Yeah, its not a fantastic charm, but consider this, the charms are built with DBT in mind, given that DBT was limiting in some regards originally, but with this fix, is now free. Other factors include the scene long buffs of Claws of the Silvermoon, and Scimictar Claw technique. Somthing I always found interesting of the Lunar charms is that they are interdependant. Alone, they're so-so, but used in conjunction with some additional effects, well, they're just horrendous. For an example:
A bull totem Lunar with strength 9 in DBT, using Crouching Tiger Exercise manages to send his strength to 16 for a short moment and wants to Kill his foe as fast as possible, he uses his Spine-Smash combo of Body-breaking Kata and Hunters eye technique, sending his average dice score of 7, to 14 dice of lethal damage which now ignore armour.
Alone, the charm isnt great, but the charm was designed with utility in mind, and the fact that its user will become a 9-foot tall death machine. However, if you feel the need to lower the cost, then by all means do. Its not like I can stop you. - ArabianNinja, world domination is always a dream.

Which brings me to my other point - hunter's eye is so overcosted ^_^
-- Darloth just couldn't help it, sorry. It should probably be a comment on the appropriate page

Heh nice little transfer. See, you have a point, and you don't. Hunters Eye Techniques isnt the best charm, but its an Essence 2 charm, and being an essence 2 charm means its going to be limited. That said, an evolution or perhaps a new charm that ignores armour for a flat cost at higher essence is a viable option. Like I said, I didn't want to go and re-write alot of the charms, only clean them up, hunters eye works fine, its not great, but it works, as opposed to two-target method which, quite frankly, sucked. I'll do a little crunching and come up with an essence 3-4 evolution of hunters eye that does somthing a little better, but till then take whats there. - ArabianNinja

Ah, true, true. However, Deadly Claw Blow is an essence 1 charm, costs 2m per success. Most people agree it's costed about okay. From an eventual damage viewpoint, the two charms are identical, but DCB also makes you hit more often, lets you hit materialized spirits, and is generally nicer. Hunters Eye is more restricted in utility, and although you CAN combo them togeather for more damage, it seems to me that a more-specialized, higher essence charm should cost less per die than a more generally useful, lower essence charm. Anyway, I'm not trying to criticise your method of leaving things be whenever possible, in fact, I approve. I'm just making all these comments underneath things so that people using it can (and in my opinion should) change stuff around at the same time as using your rejig. For said people, I believe a 1m per -1 soak, with the same (moderately harsh) restrictions would make a good compromise for hunters eye, or possibly 3m for -2 soak, if you want to get into half-costs.
