Chosen of the Maidens

Chosen of Journeys

  • Ayesha Ura. Leader of the Gold faction.
  • Fleet Brilliance. Ayesha Ura's right hand, a leader of the Gold faction.
  • Master Opal-Eye. One of the instructors and secret masters of the Heptagram. Part of the ruling triumvirate of the Bronze faction, along with Shevon and Holok.
  • Eleven Circling Stars. His task is to comb the Wyld for unusual creatures and objects that are stable in Creation, and then bring them back to Yu-Shan. Such things can then be used in situations where their unique properties may be employed to resolve snags in the Tapestry that cannot be resolved by any mundane means. He is somewhat deranged by hundreds of years spent out in the Wyld, and insofar as he cares nothing for politics, he belongs to the Bronze Faction in name only. Known for telling bizarre, rambling stories of his adventures in the Wyld, tales that have no sense nor logic to them. Bears a blade formed from Wyld-stuff that changes form constantly in battle. • Eight Summer Joys ("Summer"). Chosen of Journeys. Formerly Ronin, recently brought back into the fold. Summer is, herself, an aberration in fate. She should never have been born. Her mother, an Air-caste Dynast, was scheduled to die in the field of battle. But she didn't. Seven times she defeated the assassins who came after her, the war machines she met on the field, the terrible sorceries of her foes. On the eight time she fell, but not before she could bring her child to term. Summer spent her life on the run from her death and trying to make up for her mother's failures. She was recently picked up in the East by Ayesha Ura and brought back to Heaven, where the Bureau of Destiny are still scratching their collective heads while they figure out what to do with her. Chosen of Serenity

  • Axeria Shay. Carodin's rival and former sifu. Master of the styles of Cerulean Lute of Harmony, Snake, White Crane, and Persimmon Ocean of Joy.
  • Meridian Edge. Carodin's sifu. Master of the style of Cerulean Lute of Harmony.
  • Master Zannon. One of the instructors and secret masters of the Heptagram.
  • Terentia, "Harmonius Guarantor of Rectitude". A celestial Censor, and very ancient. She focuses on rooting out gods whose corruption is imperiling Fate (selling out to the Fair Folk, making deals with demons etc), or who are impeding the activities of the Bureau in some way. She is not above using her Charms and Sorcery to frame-up divinities who are actually innocent of wrongdoing, if they are acting inconveniently against the Bureau. Alone among Sidereals, she possesses the right to sentence a divinity to Exile and Reforging (that is, into starmetal). She is factionally neutral, and quite mercenary, willingly providing services and starmetal to any Sidereal. (by Fade@rpg.net)
  • Drusus, "Iron Prohpet of Pleasant Toils". Think Lenin turned into a Sidereal. The best part about the Solars is that anyone can be a Solar. All it takes is greatness, the ability to pull yourself up from nothing to be a true example of what humanity is capable of. The bourquoise Dragon Blooded have done nothing for the people. Everyone who's not a Dragon Blood they treat as dogs. It's only the common man who rises up to sieze power - the Solars - who have a chance of making the world a better place for all men. It's time to rise up and sieze the reigns of power for yourselves. (by Jasonk@rpg.net)

Chosen of Battles

  • Shajah Holok. The eldest living Sidereal and unquestionably Creation's greatest martial artists. A member of the Bronze faction's ruling triumvirate, with Opal-Eye and Shevon.
  • Hamo Nehza. Sent with the Legions against the Bull of the North to insure the Realm's victory. Current status unknown; his star lies within the constellation of the Sword, indicating a wound or captivity.
  • Jaikyu War-Bright. Primarily responsible for the management of Lookshy's fate. A factional fence-sitter, Jaikyu supports the Bronze's suppression of the Solars, but detests the Realm. (inspiration from Shantak)
  • Demartia. "The Bureau of Destiny's close assault lawyer." A master of fighting with words, rather than blows, she protects the interests of the Bureau of Destiny from the incursions of other Bureaus - primarily the rapacious Bureau of Heaven. (inspiration from nargun@rpg.net)
  • Crimson Banner Executioner. The Gold Faction's bagman.

Chosen of Secrets

  • Chejop Kejak. The leader and driving force behind the Bronze Faction. Probably the single most powerful Exalt in existence. Recently deceased.
  • Master Tehn. Rook's sifu. Master of the styles of Violet Bier of Sorrows, Air Dragon, and Prismatic Arrangement of Creation. Also highly skilled in Terrestrial and Celestial Circle Sorcery. One of the instructors and secret masters of the Heptagram.
  • Mistress Amerila. One of the instructors and secret masters of the Heptagram.
  • May Blossom. Ayesha Ura's left hand, a leader of the Gold Faction. A notorious sybarite and dilettante, she makes free use of her considerable charms (and Charms) in order to manipulate events to her liking.
  • The Green Lady. Ostensibly a "deep cover agent" for the Sidereals in the Underworld. It is commonly thought that the Green Lady has gotten in over her head, turned rogue and joined the Deathlord Walker-In-Darkness. Before her suprise appearance at Chejop Kejak's wake, it had been over a century since her last visit to Heaven.

Chosen of Endings

  • Shevon, the Unwelcome Repose. Hikaru's sifu. Master of the styles of Violet Bier of Sorrows, Tiger, Fire Dragon, Water Dragon, Snake, Prismatic Arangement of Creation, Charcoal March of Spiders, and Sapphire Blade of Severity. A member of the Bronze faction's ruling triumvirate, along with Holok and Opal-Eye.
  • Black Ice Shadow. The Sidereal expert on the Underworld, the Deathlords and the Malfeans. Widely rumored to be cursed or secretly in thrall to the Deathlords.
