Holvic Kagi

Holvic Kagi is the finest swordsman in a family that prides itself on military acumen. While there are siblings more skilled in the arts of command and logistics, there are none among them who can best him in single combat on an open field. Additionally, Holvic is an inspirational and charismatic orator, capable of rallying soldiers at the gates of the Underworld if need be. While the others in his family planned and orchestrated their mercenary unit’s maneuvers, it was 21-year-old Holvic who led the soldiers forward and maintained order on the bleeding edge of the front lines.

Now he finds himself alone in the world while the members of his Circle draw together. His exaltation has presented new vistas of possibility, and these will require him to grow beyond his narrow dedication to the Way of the Sword Saint. While quick-witted and perceptive, Holvic is not accustomed to taking the time and intellectual care needed to plan or to win over followers for more than the duration of a battle. He posses some experience as a battle chaplain and can articulate a limited theology of the Unconquered Sun, but would be hard pressed to defend his ideas in an open debate against a more thoughtful opponent.

Tall and powerfully built, Holvic carries himself with a confidence and masculine grace that most others find intimidating or impressive. While light on his feet and mentally agile, he strives to live the life of a stolid paragon. He meets criticism and needling with as much friendly humor as he can muster. If driven too far, however, he can fly into a fury of destruction capable of intimidating the normally dauntless Dawning Daughter.

He carriers a sledge with the appellation Revealing Justice on his remount for use as a combat-engineering tool in battering down emplaced obstacles, doors, and other barriers.
