The Excellencies of the Heroic Exalted

Heroic Exalted use the Three Excellencies of the Exalted. However, rather than using Attribute or Ability-based Excellencies, the Excellencies of the Heroic Exalted are based around situations. This allows them to be useful in a variety of situations. However, they have relatively low diecaps. The Three Excellencies operate exactly as the Solar Excellencies, except that the cap on all bonus dice is either (Background) + Essence or the die pool of the action before penalties are applied, whichever is lower.

Comments

Okay, are any of these too specific or too broad? I want to make sure. - FrivYeti

Three quick thoughts from me: first, I think the effects on MDV for Influence and Reputation are the wrong way around - an influential person is more equipped to meet an argument head-on, whilst a person with an admirable reputation is better able to simply shrug off a social attack due to his elevated status. Second, what kinds of Excellencies do Heroic Exalted have access to - what's their mechanical effect? Thirdly, keep up the good work! ...DeathBySurfeit

I was thinking that Social Dodge was Ability and Social Parry was Integrity for some reason. *shakes head, goes to change that* - FrivYeti
I noticed that this is stated on the page for 2nd ed charms so I sort of copy pasted it to the top of this page, they get the 3 basic excellencies, add dice, successes and reroll but their dice cap is background+essence or current pool whichever is lower. - Blackedout
Thankee kindly - I should have copied that over myself. - FrivYeti
