In the modern day, recording devices are a danger for anyone trying to sneak. Those techniques that work against living guards are less effective against cameras, microphones, and similar devices. While using this Charm, the character can not be effectively recorded. This does not mean they do not show up, but what is seen is a lightless area, a black area where a person should be. Microphones find an eerie silence instead of sound. They are noticed, but there is no way of identifying them from recordings. There is rumored to be a Solar version, where light replaces dark, and white noise covers sound. Also, this does make using a phone impossible
