It’s all wrong. Everything is wrong. First Ruby and I end everything, then Zen with Alaethis, and now Ruby with Alaethis...everything is just so wrong. Everyone seems to be distancing themselves from me. Or maybe I’m distancing myself from them. I don’t know any more. If it weren’t for the debt I owe Maylin I’d leave now. Seek out other Pactmates and build a new place for myself there, in the society that my people have made for themselves. What I do know is that things can’t continue like this any more. I either need to find a place for myself here, or I need to leave.
Perhaps it’s time to deal with Nine Lives as best I am able...
