History: \\

Xian was born into a well-to-do merchant family whose operations were based in Thorns. After fleeing the city during its invasion by the undead, Xian and his Uncle Gao (Xian's only surviving relative) sought refuge in the coastal towns of the South. Using his knack for business, Gao managed to transform what little they managed to take from the family coffers into the beginnings of a successful shipping company. While Gao ran the business, Xian was the primary negotiator; creating and establishing contracts amongs the various merchants of the Southern cities. \\
\\
While traveling to Paragon, Xian's entorage was set upon by Fae. Before Xian could even think, his men were cut down. The Fae warriors grinned sardonically as they lept for the kill. Xian closed his eyes, not in fear or resignment, but in concentration. A feeling of peace came over Xian, centering and calming his heart. With seeming slowness, he drew the first arrow from his quiver. With patience he nocked, and with purpose he loosed it. Another arrow, and then another, a neverending cascade of feathered shafts flew from his bow. The bowstring sang as each arrow found it's mark. When at last Xian reached for an arrow and found nothing, he opened his eyes. Around him lay the bodies of his fallen foes, their eyes neatly pierced by his arrows. In the smooth glass of one of his enemy's armor, Xian caught a glimpse of golden light. Coming closer, Xian saw the mark of the Sun emblazoned on his forehead. Still suffused with the calm of his Exaltation, Xian contemplated his newfound power. \\
\\
Deciding it was best his uncle think him dead, Xian took what he could from the caravan's wagons and burned the rest, making sure to add his clothes to the pyre. He struck out East, for soon after his Exaltation he saw through visions of old a Solar bolthole. The spirits that guarded it were happy to negotiate with Xian; minor offerings of tobacco and horsemeat were enough to sate their hungers. Within the cache Xian found a suit of armor, a golden breastplate worked in dragonscale patterns, and a short bow. \\
\\
With these Xian travelled further South, wandering where he willed. At last he came to the Hundred Nations. Again he contemplated his new situation, and determined this to be the best place to hide. Here his actions were muted by distance and rumor, and his abilities could be used to their best effect within the roiling political chaos. Here he could build up power.\\

I know the history is a little dry, but it's late, and I know ya'll hate 4-page histories :) -Dim
