== Description == Inner turmoil is a feeling that even the most temperant being must have felt, at least once. When 'wants' and 'musts' collide, when important matters are burdening someone, she walks her Mental Labyrinth. And Ianos is it's personification. Ianos appears as a two-faced man. Each of the faces look the same and are poised diametrically opposite on Ianos' head. But it is not the only diametrical opposite posture of the faces. Each of the faces has a different opinion on any given subject and they often argue, bicker or even conspire against each other. On some ocassions they even split into two seperate bodies and play a game: whomever gets the other head wins... the round. The main difference between the faces is that one of them always proposes a direct course of action, while the other an indirect. For instance face one may be blatant about a fact, while face two will be evasive and manipulative. One power Ianos has is the Mental Labyrinth: the ability to send a target in a trance-like state, in which the victim sees a series of horrifying or confusing visions. Only those with a strong will can survive such ordeal

Other notes:

•The Mental Labyrinth: This is Ianos fighting ability of choice. When confronted with enemies he enters their minds, prompting them to an aetherial realm made of their worst fears. There a battle of wills takes place: Ianos prompts horrid visions that hurt one's sanity. The only way for one to defend herself is to remain calm and convicted.

Systemwise, each round Ianos performs a Manipulation + Conviction attack to each character in the Mental Labyrinth as a free action. The players can dodge or parry each of these attacks, using Temperance + the apropriate ability. This attack deals base damage of 1 willpower, which can be soaked only by Conviction. When all willpower is lost, the character gains a derangement for every point of damage she suffers.

To attack Ianos, the character must roll Valor+the appropriate skill, doing a base damage equal to that of the weapon used. This is willpower damage. If Ianos loses all his willpower, the Mental Labyrinth is broken.
