Black and Violet - Game Information
Character Creation Rules
- 120 BP.
- Celestial level.
- Solars, Lunars, definitely.
- Sids and Abbys are good, but you'll have to think of changing loyalties from your Faction / Deathlord at some point in time if you're going to *stay* a PC.
- Outcaste DBs fine if you don't mind playing a DB in a celestial game. We'd recommend you use MA or sorcery to make up for the difference.
- Creation-friendly Fae a possibility! Not that we are good at Fae stuff, but we'll try!
- Alchemicals... uh. We'd need to read the rulebook first. But likely answer is "no". >.>
- Uses PC and Sol Invictus rules.
- Be a character concept that wants to make a difference in Creation. If you're too cynical, might as well stay out.
Basic Background and Premise
Basic premise: Creation fixers. Belladonna & Blackbird being an organization co-founded by Ryshassa and Alexsei Krauser. (A Twilight Solar empathic healer/sorceress-to-be and an Endings Sidereal funeral priest/teacher/advisor, respectively. Gah, too many slashes and dashes. o.o) It will likely have a floating garden/library/manse/etc. as a base -- acquired during the course of the game. The group will start out fairly high powered, with a reputation for dealing with hard-to-smash problems, mediating disputes between nations, reversing famine and cleansing epidemics, and so on. Large scale stuff.
There may also be extensive hunting for spellz/arties. Why? In the name of using such things to better help Creation. Yes, I realize there is a fine line here between gaining power for others or for oneself. That could very well be an issue, who knows!
There WILL be opposition from Heaven, specifically the Bureau of Destiny. Not immediately, but an encroaching possibility as Alexsei moves away from the ideals of the Gold Faction. Or heck, any faction.
Most other opposition will come from enemy groups involved in the jobs B&B are given. The game will likely start out more "episodic" (i.e. one story per job/mission) but as I establish the main villains and recurring problems this could turn out to be a very anime-series-ish game. Maybe MAYBE clashes with the Underworld / Deathlords, though I'm kinda tired of Deathlords and undeadstuff atm. MAYBE (very big maybe) fixing the Great Curse. That would be veeeeery long term though. Don't hold your breath. ^^;
