Rashid - Pirate prince, swashbuckler and heartthrob. Dawn Caste.
Winter Moon - Blind archer.Former God-blooded princess. Currently opinionated essence engineer. Twilight Caste.

Three Smiles - Lunar Exalt infiltrator of many faces. Current sometimes lover and/or bed ornament to Hoarfrost. Trickster. Slightly (?)unreliable.
Grey Hawk - Dragonblooded airship captain and outcaste with a stone to grind against the Blessed Isle. Former antagonist, later hired help, current fiancée to Rashid.
Mareeka - Sidereal Half-Caste connected to the Cult of the Illuminated, assigned to assist and keep track of the Solar Circle. Know-it-all-and-better-than-you personality.
