CircleRelay/Starter Theme
From Exalted - Unofficial Wiki
(My thoughts are that, if we want to do this at all, it could be done thusly...)
Starting Theme: romantically complicated Circles
The Cherry Blossom Alliance (DigitalSentience) (This is just a rough outline; it's very late where I am, but I wanted to put something here.)
- Black Sparrow is the Night Caste ex-bouncer for a ritzy Nexus establishment. Her kung fu is accordingly very strong, but not as strong as her rapidly burgeoning affection for...
- Twelve Nightingales, or as he was known before his Exaltation to the Eclipse caste, Reed. A pretty farmboy playing at being royalty, Black Sparrow sees through his false airs - which are, of course, put on for the benefit of another...
- Montoya Tepet, a striking Water-Aspect Dragon-Blooded outcaste with an interesting past. She frequented the club at which Black Sparrow used to be a rather faceless employee, but whom had the audacity to confront Montoya about her rowdy behavior on at least one occasion. Circumstances have thrown her lot in with the rest of the Circle, but she barely deigns to notice the fawning of Twelve Nightingales, having seen true sophistication in the circles she used to frequent. Her rough sensibilities have been piqued, however, by...
- Iron Hawk, a blacksmith Twilight, and the most recently Exalted of the group. Still bewildered by the changes which have swept through his life, he hasn't even begun to register the tensions running through the rest of the group; but he knows he still loves his (mortal) betrothed, Amber-in-Woods.
- Sigal, a cobra-totem Lunar who, unbeknownst to the rest of the Circle, is the recent reincarnation of Black Sparrow's husband from the First Age. Sigal is intrigued by the feelings she dimly senses trickling into her memory from the shard, and would not be adverse to pursuing some sort of relationship with Sparrow, but is unsure how to broach the matter to her one-time mate. She travels with the Circle for now, mostly to be close to Black Sparrow until she can divine Sparrow's feelings, and sort out her own.
The Circle's name came from the moment at which Black Sparrow, Iron Hawk, and Twelve Nightingales swore loyalty to each other on a moonlit hillside, the site to which, Sigal asserts, Fate must have led them so that they might reforge their First Age bonds. Montoya and Sigal both joined the Circle at later dates, but each took the same oath, and each will stand by it.
