Celestial Bear Style

An unarmed fighting style taking after the rugged strength of the bear, mostly based around brawling, but with the possibility of high soak and the ability to deal great damage. Incompatible with weapons. Compatible with armour.
Claw Catches Fish

The martial artist emulates the bear, hooking his hand and swatting at an opponents weapon, as if scooping a fish out of the water. The martial artists makes a disarm attempt like normal, however the difficulty of his roll is 1 instead of 3. Coinciveniently (that’s coincidentally and conveniently), this charm can be used to reduce the difficulty of catching fish barehanded as well.

Prerequisite Charms: Claw Catches Fish
The martial artist makes an attack against a single target with his whole pool and if successful may attack again at minus one dice. If that attack deals damage, he attacks again at -2 dice, and if successful again at -3 dice… the character may continue attacking until he runs out of dice or until he fails to deal any damage.

Prerequisite Charms: Rampaging Bear Attack
Like an angry bear the martial artist lets out a long, deep throated roar out into the area, scaring away lesser creatures. The martial artist rolls Stamina + Presence (and may add any applicable intimidation specialties to the roll). Anyone who hears the character rolls their willpower at difficulty of the number of successes on the martial artists intimidation roll. If they succeed they may act normally, if they fail the difficulty of their valour roll to face the martial artist increases by the difference between the two rolls. The strength and fury of this roar does not dissipate over distance and any who hear it feel its power.

Prerequisite Charms: Tongues Warning
The martial artist takes a moment to center himself around his center of gravity, and roars as he channels essence through his body adopting the solid stance of the fighting bear. For the remainder of the scene he adds his martial arts to his stamina (and adjusts his soaks accordingly), as well as choosing to deal lethal or bashing damage with his unarmed attacks. In addition the difficulty of blocking his attacks is increased by his permanent essence, as his strikes seem to have the weight of the great bear behind them. This form charm is compatible with armours, however not with weapons and cannot be used with any other form charm.
Angry Bear Swipe

Prerequisite Charms: Celestial Bear Form
The Martial artist makes an unarmed attack like normal, but doubles his full damage pool before soak. Wounds caused by this charm appear similar to that from bear victims, large torn depressions where the bears attack tore flesh and crushed bone.
Falling Bear Strike

Prerequisite Charms: Angry Bear Swipe
The martial artist strikes his opponent with his entire being, imbuing his body with heavy essence lending considerable weight to his blows. Attacks made with his charm cannot be blocked only dodged.
Bear on his Back Technique
Charm Cost: 3 motes, 1 willpower

Charm Type: reflexive
Minimum Martial Arts: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Celestial Bear Form
A celestial bear stylist can activate this charm at any point to take control of a hold or clinch he is participating in. He must spend the mote cost of this charm for each opponent in the hold, and then gets a single success (regardless of the set difficulty) on his roll to take control of the hold or clinch. If it is a clinch the martial artist receives no extra damage dice.
Unforgiving Bear Embrace

Prerequisite Charms: Bear on his Back Technique
The martial artist may activate this charm while he is in control of a clinch to deal serious damage. He doubles the damage rating of his clinch (+4b instead of +2b) for the purpose of determining damage for the turn, as he tightens his hold around his opponent. If the martial artist deals any damage, his target receives a -1 penalty from lack of breath. If the martial artist deals more damage than the targets Stamina rating, then the target receives a -1 penalty and an additional -1 penalty for every point of damage beyond his stamina rating. If the target has accrued more penalties from this charm than his stamina rating he has the breath squeezed out of him and blacks out for his stamina in turns. The penalties accrued from this charm fade at a rate of 1 per turn unless this charm is used on the same target in consecutive turns.
Overbearing Weight of the Bear
Charm Cost: 3 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Charm Type: Simple

Prerequisite Charms: Unforgiving Bear Embrace, Falling Bear Strike
The martial artist imbues his limbs with heavy essence and attacks his opponent like normal. After a successful attack the martial artists opponent gets knocked down, regardless of damage dealt. This charm can even be used with unarmed touch attacks that deal no damage.
Retribution from the Beast Within

Prerequisite Charms: Overbearing Weight of the Bear
The martial artist taps into the anger of the trapped and wounded bear upon taking damage from a hand to hand attack and lashes out violently at his attacker intending to maim. After taking damage the martial artist may make a counter attack at her full die pool(no penalties whatsoever). If the attacker takes damage, a number of his health levels of damage, equal to the amount of damage the martial artist took from the attacker, is converted into aggravated. This counter attack takes place while damage is being dealt to the martial artist.

Prerequisite Charms: Retribution from the Beast Within
The martial artist takes a moment to commune with the mighty avatars of the bear, asking to borrow some of their strength during his fight for life, and offering up some of his own life force in return. For the remainder of the scene the martial artist gains a portion of the bears resilience increasing his strength, soak, and endurance. His permanent essence gets added to his strength, he gains a single point of hardness for his bashing soak and he may soak lethal with his full stamina. All his wound penalties are reduced to -1, but he enters into a bestial rage and yearns to maul his enemies and will not stop fighting until they are dead and all their bones broken. If he wishes not to kill an opponent he must succeed at a willpower roll with a difficulty of his conviction, if he wishes to stop fighting he must succeed at a willpower roll with a difficulty of his conviction + 1 for every enemy attacking him. While this charm is active the character is only aware of whoever he is fighting and may take no action other than to find another foe, if there are no more foes then the charm wears off.
