BujiGem/HesieshPrayer
Hesiesh's Prayer is a mockery of a relic. It was built when Gem first became inhabited as a tribute to the Dragon-Blooded warriors who guarded the Realm. It was a place they could retire to in the evenings and be with thier own, away from those less than they were. Over time, the bar became quiet ... fewer and fewer remained. In my storyline, the Realm is using the tension between Gem and Paragon to garner better pricing from Gem all the while pouring more military strength into Paragon.
The outcastes that live in Gem can be mixed depending on how they feel of the Realm. There are enough patrons to keep the place running, but barely. It stands a mockery to the great influence the Realm had in this land now more than anything. The Dragon-Blooded who do frequent it though are ignorant to that fact. Any outsider groups who are loyal to the Realm head straight for it not realizing how the city views it. The thieves guild Silent Flow and the Despot both use it to quickly detect loyalties. It also makes a great place to hire out disposable bodies for dangerous missions.
The bar is run by a single keep, Cassius. He is obviously from the west and keeps to himself. He is more than happy to take money under the table from both the guild and the Despot to keep the place afloat and filter back any information a drunken Imperial may spill.
