The Mask of the Masquerade

At first glance the mask is a party mask made of jet black metal and adorned with black raven feathers and white dove feathers. Anyone who looks very closely will see tears of blood forming at the corners of the eyes as the souls trapped within cry for release. Any attuned wearer is perceved as more glib, articulate, and attractive as the souls of great actors and socialites whisper their secrets into his mind.

(Note that it doesn't actually cry blood, it just always seems on the verge of tears. This is suppressed while the mask is active.)
