Character for StalkerofShadows Orichalum Legion game

Without further ado:

Shining Empty Wind
Night Caste Solar Exalted
Concept: Master Thief
Nature: Thrillseerker
Virtue: Valor
Great Curse:
The Self-Aggrandizing Sulk
The character is self-centered and narcissistic, and feels that he deserves an awful lot just for being as awesome as she is. In general, she takes what she wants and thinks that it's her due. If she is denied something, he may snap, in which case he will sulk for a number of weeks equal to his Valour or until the person that last caused him to gain Limit convinces him that he agrees to do everything she could ever possibly want, whichever comes first. While sulking, he will refuse to speak to anyone he does not respect; he may make elaborate and ridiculous demands (through proxies, of course) to soothe his pride; and he will not negotiate. He will refuse to do basically anything unless he believes it to be on his own terms, for the glorification and grandeur of himself (for example, he won't save a life because someone asks him to -- but he might save a life if he thinks it will make himself more famous, as long and only as long as he can convince herself it's not for anyone else's sake). He will insist on being served hand and foot if he can manage it and generally be in a bad temper the entire time. Limit Break Condition: the character's desires are thwarted or he is deprived of something she wants by someone she perceives as lesser than himself.

Custom Charms

Anything-Not-Nailed-Down Approach (name-appropriately- stolen from Reyemile on the wiki)
Cost: 10 motes
Duration: Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum (Ability): 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Stealing From Plain Sight Methodology

This charm infuses the user with essence to bolster his speed and cunning. This allows him to add his essence in automatic successes to all larceny rolls for a single scene.

Anything-I-Can-Pry-Up-Technique
Cost: 12 motes, 1 Willpower, 1 Health Level
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum (Ability): 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Anything-Not-Nailed-Down-Approach, Magpie's Invisible Talon

Expanding on the thieving mastery granted by Magpie's Invisible Talon, this charm allows the exalt to accomplish seemingly impossible crimes. The exalt may attempt to steal an object from up to one yard away per point of his essence score; however the exalt may attempt to wrest items from a target even while they are in use. The exalt makes a contested roll of Dexterity + Larceny versus the target's Essence + Wits. If the exalt wins, the item appears in his hands instantly. Unlike Magpie's Invisible Talons or Stealing From Plain Sight Spirit, this charm offers no special protection against discovery of the theft. While targets actively using an item while it is stolen will notice its absence instantly, they are not immediately aware of who stole it.

Cloak of Velvet Shadow (courtesy of Nephilpal)
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum (Ability): 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: None
The Night Caste walk beyond the sight of their patron, bringing the promise and hope of light to the dark places. All members of this Caste can shroud themselves a mien of subtlety that turns aside the attention of onlookers and pursuers. Iron Wolves who learn this Charm learn to bend shadows and minds with still greater ease. The cost to evoke the muted anima for a scene drops to 8 motes instead of 10, and the effect adds the Exalt's Essence to the difficulty of all attempts to detect or track her. Night Caste Exalted with Essence 5+ may deepen the power of their veil if so desired. For a cost of 12 motes and 1 Willpower, they may add their Essence in automatic successes to all Stealth rolls for a scene. In addition, the cloak grants a reflexive Dexterity + Stealth roll (adding a number of successes equal to Essence) to counter Awareness rolls even when the character is not actively trying to evade notice. Only members of the Night Caste with a minimum rating of 5 in at least one of their Caste Abilities may learn Cloak of Velvet Shadow, paying the reduced experience cost for a Charm in a Caste Ability. Exalted may only cloak themselves using one permutation of their anima power at a time.

Backgrounds
Artifacts 5 (6 XP to bring it from 3 to 5)
This includes a set of glittering jade rings that collectively count as an artifact-3 that effectively grants him the charm Sidereal Shell Games
Orachlium Hearthstone Bracers. Artifact 2.

That leaves me with a 5 dot artifact outstanding. Any suggestions?

Followers 5 (6 XP to bring it from 3 to 5)
Shining Empty Wind makes enemies very easily, he has lots of them-- but a lot of that comes from his perfect willingness to upset powerful people. He makes plenty of friends, too, though usually among the outcast and downtrodden-- and over the years he's drawn to himself a band of the most formidable. His followers are a motley assortment of freed slaves, an outcaste Dragon Blooded, a former godblood turned small-god, twin elementals, sentient automata and, and other misfits. While he's always enjoyed a few traveling companions, he's drawn most of his followers in the last year or so, while acting as a bandit prince, raiding guild slave caravans across the south. Ah, the glorious life of a sand pirate! Since the wreckage of the Sandrunner Masterless Austrech and the discovery of the Star of Morning, his rag tag associates have shaped themselves into something resembling a passable-- but highly unorthodox ship's crew.
Allies 3 (6 XP to bring it from 1 to 3) Some of this goes towards crew. He's also attracted the attention of a Gold Faction Sidereal by the name of August Coral Vizier. She's grooming him for Cult of the Illuminated membership, and has successfully managed to indoctrinate him with reasonably large elements of Illuminated philosophy, but has not yet broached the subject of the cult. Shining Empty Wind does not know of her true nature or identity-- she's merely a mysterious stranger that shows up from time to time to offer aid-- and on one memorable occasion, with to request he break into a certain dynast's mansion and ensure that a certain jade amulet was removed from the dynast's private collection and put back into place three hours later.
Contacts 5 (15 XP) “I know a guy who knows a guy...” Shining Empty Wind always knows a guy who knows a guy. He gets around a lot."
Manse 2 (2 Freebies) + Hidden Manse (2 Freebies)
Hearthstone grants him -1 to all damage after soak, as per the Starmetal armor property. The Triple-Ping house rule just kills Water Dragon style. It had to go.

Conspicuous absence: Resources. While he has come into vast riches during his career, it tends to slip through his fingers just as quickly. This suits him just fine-- he figures he'll just take anything he wants, anyhow.
