Description

Obsidian Majestic functions as Diamond of Summer's main contact in Gem. An exceptionally competent smith and jewelcutter, he originally came from Diamond's home village just outside Varang territory. How he came to Gem is a matter not yet revealed by the ST, but it is known that he remained on good terms with Diamond's grandmother until her death. He's pointed Diamond around to merchants and traders of his acquaintance, and probably shared a dirty joke or two. More relevently, he gave Diamond a strange Rainbow Jewel similar to Scarab's. It was, apparently, under his safe keeping for Soran's sake, as it was Soran who requested Diamond take the gem with him to the Lap.
