MS. OBOL 'S COMMENTS: From what the agents said, Varan was far more stable than he had been before his death. While alive, he would often senselessly attack his own allies or servants to see if they were "worthy" of being at his side. This didn't endear him to the few that survived his tests. Havoc said it took a minimum of persuasion to get him to abandon his plan to inflict revenge on the Terrestrial Exalted. Strange. It may be worth our while to summon him for an interview.
