After the Not Fun Things At All were overthrown and the G.O.D.D.E.S.S. took good care of the Ultimate System, Otakuchton, The Great Otaku, started feeling like he wasn't welcome anymore. Yes, that's the feeling you usually get when you start finding post-its on your door that read "When are you leaving you lazy ass?", when the goddesses prefer to stand while eating in the mess room than sitting in the same table as you, and when your limited edition Gundam models start mysteriously disappearing, or missing parts.

Suffice to say, being the last Not Fun Thing At All around means everybody got to be a big meanie against you, just because you're different. It's just that they're all envious, really.

But even Otakuchton's patience had a limit, and when his collections of all Gundam and Macross series episodes were "accidentally" deleted from the Ultimate System's subfolders, he decided he really had enough of this ungrateful and thankless guys.

So he locked himself into his room.

Inside there, he created a personal version of the Ultimate System, the Ultimate System v2.0. Of course, there wasn't a world he could mess with anymore, or rather: it was off limits to him, and thus he used the infinite infinity of scraps and materials of unknown nature in his room (mostly from old, labelless cardboard boxes) he made up a new one which he set in his room, which is Elsewhere, which is not really there, but Otakuchton says so, so be it and quit whining ok?

This process didn't go unnoticed, strange sounds started coming from inside Otakuchton's room and it started growing and expanding like a giant monster until it engulfed parts of Creation itself before launching itself into the sky, over the sky and who knows where else.

And so, away from every annoying thing that has always misunderstood him and his creativity, Otakuchton created this huge world in his own room, which he populated with those that were "accidentally" engulfed before he went off, a world of endless space opera, mecha and more otakucons than any sane individual would ever dare participating into. Otakuchton also couldn't resist creating his breed of chosen to help making his personal universe work well; he mixed his passion for mecha with his passion for cute girls, and thus the Robot Girls were created.

Time passed (years? Millenias? Who cares, since Otakuchton keeps track of time in terms of Otacons) and the inhabitants of Otaconia started to suffer from the lack of interaction with a different, colorful world that is Creation, of which Otakuchton left evidence in certain posters and embarassing photos which were never meant to be shown (especially those with the cute girls). Now, being the sort that holds grudges, Otakuchton had no intention of ever going back to Creation where all those thankless meanies made fun of him, but when his own chosen started asking pretty please, he immediately surrendered.

Now, the battleships were ready to set off for Creation, to show them all that Otakuchton is back. Thus began the project Otacon Reloaded.

Otaconia

Otakuchton is infinite infinity, and thus his room is infinite infinity too (it grew because it became MORE infintely infinite, geesh, what kind of question is that?), and in that infinity are eight planets on which civilization grows. Each of these eight planets has a World Council that administrates the political and economical sides, a Confederation of Mecha Industries that is in lead of the construction of Robot Girls and Mecha (evidently) and a Bureau of Otaku Affairs, the spiritual leaders and those in charge of organizing the various Otacons, also those who keep the Comics of the Great Maker, a 36-volume series explaining the history of Otaconia.

Otaconia is the world of space opera and mecha opera and science fiction, except it's real, it's not fiction. Really. Ask those who live there.

The Robot Girls

The Robot Girls are all equals, sort of, except they have different designs, and of course each is created with a different reason to exist. There are five of them and they are of course called "Designs". When the Robot Girls work together, they do so in a WorkGroup.

The Mecha Musume

Stalwart fighters and representative of all that is cool in the world of Mecha, the Mecha Musume incorporate giant robot designs to human scale; they are cool, striking and statuary, but somehow they are still as cute as every chosen of Otakuchton.

Design attributes: Strength, Manipulation, Intelligence
Design power: By spending 5 motes, they can add up to Moe in damage dice upon every successfull strike until the end of the scene.

The Military Mascots

Heroes of the people, they have the design of the military vehicles that are more common amongst the populace and are created to be in closer contact to them than the Mecha Musume, they are the most cooperative and frequently deployed.

Design Attributes: Stamina, Charisma, Wits
Design power: By spending 5 motes, they can add up to Moe to their bashing soak and soak lethal damage with their full Constitution for a scene. In addition to that, they gain Hardness equal to their naturak soak values.

The OS-Tans

Brainpower and designers of societes, the OS-Tans are the incarnation of the Ultimate System V2.0's most practical functions, being created and connected in perfect harmony with it. They are in charge of making sure everything works like planned, but since Ultimate System V2.0 is so cool, they spend most of their time actually explaining people how it works.

Design Attributes: Dexterity, Manipulation, Intelligence
Design power: By spending 5 motes, they can start a defragmentation process, which enables them to tell the permanent Moe of all presents, their remaining motes and to enhance their ability to use it, adding 1 to the motes recovered per die of stunt they do (thus 3 for 1-die stunts, 6 for 2-die stunts and 9 for 3-die stunts. Note that if they choose to recover willpower with 2 or 3-die stunts, they also recover 1 mote regardless).

The Replicants

Impossible to tell from ordinary human. Well, except for the ear pods, the superstrength and their incredible ability to be involved in more romance than ordinary girls can just dream of getting to see; they are supposed to be the stealthy presence that watches the world of mortals, but they tend to take this "look like an ordinary girl" stuff too seriously.

Design Attributes: Dexterity, Appearance, Wits
Design power: By spending 5 motes, they can add their Moe as automatic successes to all social rolls for one scene.

The Manmachine Hybrids

Not all that exists in Otaconia is mixiture of man and machine, everything is a mixiture of something and machine (the machine gets in no matter what), strange creatures included. Of course, with the Robot Girls being created from the Great Otaku, they are all cute no matter how strange they may look; this particular design is the most striking of all, usually they have tormented personalities to go with their oddity, which just makes them cuter.

Design Attributes: Stamina, Manipulation, Perception
Design power: By spending 5 motes, they can increase all of their DVs by their Moe for the rest of the scene.

Woot! Good work, though I think the Design Powers are kinda potent for the cost. -- JohnBiles

Eeeeh, you're right, they should as of now... But I'm already looking forward to second edition, and trust me: solars' caste powers are worse, and kick in automatically once 11+ motes of peripheral essence are spent. I guess I'll wait on second edition before tinkering on the costs a bit more, but thanks for the feedback! ^^ -- Mokuren
I dunno. I get the impression from the Alchemicals book that they are supposed to get kick-ass innate powers to help make up for their lower powered charms (when compared to solars). I really like the Robot Girls, btw. Nice job. --BrilliantRain
