Raksha House Rules

Some initial 1e house rules.

Charms

  • Invocation Charms work as described except when taken as mutations. The mutation allows one possession to be invoked into Creation per scene and costs 3 mutation points. Invoking via the mutation does not use up a shaping action.
  • Defining the Parameters of Battle costs 1 gossamer per scene to activate the normal parry effect.

Mutations

  • Essence Channeler is specifically not allowed to be taken as a mutation. Note however that some of DarkheartOne's custom charms allow an essence pool to be enlarged or created. See Deepening the Hungry Well

Waypoints

  • Waypoints invoked into creation in some fashion are considered to be of the same level of reality as the land on which they are invoked. Thus waypoints summoned onto border marches produces more border marches etc.
  • Waypoints are connected to each other by journeys. Waypoints connect to the lands of Creation directly. Invoking a waypoint on to an already connected waypoint allows the invoker to specify a journey.
  • When specifying journeys, it should ideally be possible for anything to choose to travel via that journey. For example traveling through a doorway or meditating are both fine ways to travel. Where being of a specific gender is not (that effect is a shaping action).
