Llyas Thread
From the notes of Nellens Anila
- Mentioned in conjunction with Jindar-Needles in the practice of Baronenis in a couple of manuscripts.
- Mentioned in Trade Patterns as originating in the Western Isles.
- Mentioned in Materials as being very supple, but strong.
No other references exist. The monopoly that Trade Patterns indicates suggests that it was harvested, rather than being created. The physical properties mentioned in Materials would suggest that some should have survived to this day, but I have not succeeded in unearthing any references after the Usurpation. Finally, hints in the mystical manuscripts, particularly Nine Ice Swans' Quarto, suggest that it was used as some kind of essence conduit.
