These are a nice idea... but the wood one is VASTLY expensive at once per scene (to heal even a single level of bashing damage at double speed requires 5 scenes of use when resting, assuming 20 minutes per scene) and doesn't seem worth it. I would also suggest changing the wording to 'breath water as easily as air' because currently it seems (to me at least) to imply characters also have free action underwater, like the water aspect anima power, which it does not actually state. I also tried to find swimming speeds to see if doubling them was too much (since there are movement-double charms as an entire charm) but I can't find them anywhere.<br> --[[Darloth]]

:I disagree entirely about the wood-aspected one. While it's not useful at all to most people not involved in long-term brawling fights, it is nightmarish when you're looking at people like masters of the wood style, certain Lunars, et cetera. The second you've got any effect that heals bashing over a scene, this thing doubles it. That can be a lot. Perhaps different wording would be nice? Perhaps allowing you to heal one bashing per 5 turns for  a scene? Or even healing 1/3 for the scene, or some such? Alternately, it can double the healing rate for the day, making it quite useful as a long-term healing aid. - GregLink, strangely also focusing only on the wood one.

:Just a thought on an alternate power.  I was watching Nausicaa and was thinking that that tree purification was a nice idea.  So what if the amulet purifies water that the user is drinking. Dragon Scales (Artifact 1) These ornate jade amulets are common in the Realm and in Lookshy, where they are commonly given to young Dragon-Blooded as gifts and symbols of authority. The amulet adds +2B/ +2L to its owner’s soak and cost two motes to attune. By spending an additional two motes the owner may activate an additional power dependant on the type of jade used to make the amulet:

Air

The amulet grows cool to the touch, lowering the temperature around the owner to a comfortable level and reducing any penalties due to heat by 2.

Earth

The amulet causes the owner’s skin to further harden, adding an additional +1B/+1L soak.

Fire

The amulet grows hot and may be touched to any flammable material to start a small fire.

Water

The owner may breath as easily in water as on land and doubles his swimming speed.

Wood

The owner heals bashing damage at double his normal rate for the rest of the scene.

Comments:

These are a nice idea... but the wood one is VASTLY expensive at once per scene (to heal even a single level of bashing damage at double speed requires 5 scenes of use when resting, assuming 20 minutes per scene) and doesn't seem worth it. I would also suggest changing the wording to 'breath water as easily as air' because currently it seems (to me at least) to imply characters also have free action underwater, like the water aspect anima power, which it does not actually state. I also tried to find swimming speeds to see if doubling them was too much (since there are movement-double charms as an entire charm) but I can't find them anywhere.

I disagree entirely about the wood-aspected one.
Just a thought on an alternate power. I was watching Nausicaa and was thinking that that tree purification was a nice idea. So what if the amulet purifies water that the user is drinking. Otherwise, it is a pretty cool concept. Powerwise it is like Hearthstone bracers with a level 2 Hearthstone in it. So I think it is pretty much balanced --Savare
