Background

This weapon was forged in the dawn of the Second Age with the return of the Copper Spiders, the Twilights of the Unconquered Sun. One of unique ability crafted this fine weapon for herself so that her martial arts would be augmented further, to protect those she loved without resorting to sorcery, unless absolutely necessary.

Abilities

This sword is useable with the Snake Form and all of its charms, even the ones that explicitly say that weapons cannot be used. It cannot be used with any other MA style, save for those that it would be in-form for. The sword is an elegant orichalcum daiklaive that reaches only 3 feet, curving sharply at the end. The sword resembles a golden hooded cobra, rearing to strike. There is a socket for a hearthstone where the eye of the serpent is on the blade; although the hearthstone is in the open, as long as it is in the sword it can not be broken with a called shot.

Comments

Two notes - first off, I think this is ever so marginally underpowered for a 3-dot artifact. You could probably raise damage a point or so. Secondly, there are no called shots against Hearthsthones or similar objects in Exalted, so that's not really an issue. :) - FrivYeti

The thing about the Hearthstone was just to clarify that it was in no danger out in the open. And I was going more for the striking aspect of a Cobra, so I added 2 to speed and 1 to accuracy. Thanks for the feedback. ~Terk

Some would say accuracy is worth more than damage. And anyway, the hearthstone is tougher than the sword.
