And the next theme is: A non-Silver Pact Lunar and his non-Lunar Pact

Stone ToothCircleRelay/B> - IanPrice

Lunar
No Moon

Stone Tooth got its name because of the way it fights: transformed into a gigantic metal-and-stone chimera of destruction. Through a combination of Deadly Beastman form and various transformative Sorcery spells, Stone Tooth has achieved fame in the Southeast as a terrifying monster. Not even its circlemates know Stone Tooth's real name or gender. It appears as a he or a she as it suits its whims, leading only by the shared commitment the circlemates it has acquired have to its goal: destroy the Dragon-Blooded utterly. It often tells the story of how the former bearer of its Essence was finally killed two centuries ago, among other stories from the memories it inherited with its powerful Lunar Essence. The main problem Stone Tooth and its cirlce face is the constant attention of the Wyld Hunt. Stone Tooth is well known to them, having killed their inquisitors and warriors both in its past incarnation and in this one. Aside from that, most mortals fear the great monster, and many have heard of its Tell: in the Southeast, a man or a woman with "hair and eyes as grey as rock, and ears pointed like a wolf" is a well-known byword for trouble.

Sidereal (Ronin)
Secrets

The ronin sidereal exalted fairly quietly, as the old witch saw a great conflict coming to her village. She evacuated the village, in time for the chance meeting with the Wyld Hunt (with Sidereal) which came seeking her and Stone Tooth. She feared the Sidereal, and in return, gave her loyalty to Stone Tooth who saved her. She has an impressive grasp of Terrestrial sorcery, and charms (though no knowledge of prayer strips, at all) and she was instrumental in finding the next member of the band ...

Solar
Dawn

This 300 year old Solar Exalt was once a leader of a Northern Barbarian tribe that was dominated by a Lunar. One day, in disgust at an unusual request, he rose up against his tribe's guide in an attempt to overthrow the tyrannical Exalt. The Lunar left him for dead and massacred the rest of the tribe in response to his actions. Ever since he has despised Lunars, but now simply holds his grudge against the Silver Pact because of Seven Season's intervention and Stone Tooth's power and cunning during an attempted raid of a village by Lunar-driven barbarians. He has been instrumental within the circle because he has led the development of the talents of his close circle-friend...

<b>"Princess Skullface" (really Princess Radiant Sparrow) - OhJames

Solar
Eclipse

Radiant Sparrow is an athletic young woman with the nut-brown hair and pale complexion befitting a princess of the Scavenger Lands. She originally hails from a tiny, and very poor, domain in the near East, several dozens of miles to the north of Nexus, where she was next in line for the throne. However, Sparrow really didn't want to add a crown to her growing list of problems, not the least of which was her recent exaltation as a Solar Anathema, and escaped to wander the Threshold for half a decade. She was resting at that fateful village when it was attacked by Lunars and was rescued from a beastman's talons by Karkovich. She has run with Stone Tooth, whom she deeply fears and resents, since then. A deeply cynical person, she is nonetheless remarkably persuasive and charismatic, serving as the Circle's face when the need arises. Karkovich, meanwhile, has begun teaching her the rudiments of Tiger Style, and she has taken to the martial discipline like a fish to water. Her new sobriquet stems from a desire to leave her past behind, while simultaneously attempting to prove her dedication to the ways of bringing death. She is somewhat reserved and refuses to spend any time with Stone Tooth alone. The sorcerous moon-beast frightens her to her very core, though "Princess Skullface" will not admit it.

Aroused HeavensCircleRelay/B> - IanPrice

Solar
Zenith

Aroused Heavens is a zealous high priest of the Sun, but unfortunately his enthusiastic evangelism quickly ran him afoul of the Wyld Hunt. Visions he recieved through prayer led him to Stone Tooth and its stragglers, and he soon understood that these weary souls needed his help as much as he needed their protection. The others call him "Priest" for short, and have come to respect him where they fear Stone Tooth. Of them all, only Aroused Heavens has approached the great beast and talked to it for any great length of time, and the two seem to share an understanding. The priest refers to Tooth as a "she." He has essentially become the translator between the cranky old Lunar and her followers; he has made no move to become leader, nor does he wish to. Stone Tooth is a far better tactician, and far better at leading the small band to survival than he is.

Not bad for the first real run. Narrowed the topic a bit for the next one to make it more interesting. Will help to get things started shortly. -Miles

Hmm... I think, for future theme-making, we should try to make it more thematic, and not uh... how to put this. Okay. I think "romantically complicated circles" is a good theme. It allows for any number of things. Conversely, I don't really think "a non-Pact Lunar + companions" is as good a theme, because it doesn't really convey what they do. It tells you what they are, which makes it harder to come up with compelling characters, in my opinion. But enh, this works too. -- OhJames equivocation FTW!

Interestingly, I think that this has created a more true game like circle. I like leaving things open ended and leading into the next character as much as possible. Gives the next person something to work with. Worked really well with the Romanically Challanged Circle. I do think we would rather see topics such as Hippies, Wyld Hunt, or Marksman, rather than basing it off of a lead character type, etc. -Miles
