Locations in the Western Isles

This is generally known information about these places.

Countries

Vutch Islands - The main home of the people known as the Vutch Clan.

Wavecrest Archipelago - A large country on the southern tip of the western isles. Has the largest amount of arable land in the West, thus making it known for its crops, blacksmithing, and other dry land industries as well as its fishing and shipping.

Coral Archipelago - A group of islands run by an oligarchy devoted to distracting its populace with bread and circuses. Its government is also notable for having fewer qualms about shady deals than a Nexus shopkeeper. A good place to go for Letters of Marque, if you don't mind the high percentage fee.

Skullstone Archipelago - Ruled by the being known as the Silver Prince, this is a country where the dead rule the living and committing suicide is regarded as a good career move. Located in the West's largest shadowland, the people import a surprisingly small amount of food. Note to all DBs, you are not welcome here.

Islands

Isle of the Kame - Out of the way island with a semi-hidden village which caters mostly to pirates.

Hidden Volcanic Island - Was the base for Sesus Rike's pirate crew. Is now the Base for the Solar Pirates.

Isle of Shadows - An island with a First Age shipyard, that has since become a Shadowland. Currently appears to be the base of a Deathlord.

Island of the Invincible Willow - So called for the 1,000ft willow tree that grows at the center of the island. Home to a number of Sages and Savants who spend much of their time in discourse or research at the large library. Noted for the organic look to the houses and the prevalence of vegetarian food.

Island of the Adamant Cliffs - A fortress island ruled by a Realm Satrap. Giant cliffs encircle the entirety of this island, save one narrow channel, which is watched over by firedust cannons, Siege weapons, and even a few scavenged implosion bows and lightning ballistae. The cliffs protect a city, made rich from the large jade beds found here and the resulting trade.

Avani, The Man-Isle - A creature similar in power to the Mother Bog, but it is made from the earth and controls an island.

Island of Violet Lilies - The burial ground for several Anathema. As they have very active security systems, there is no-one currently living here.

Isle of Mysterious Beasts - An empty isle. Those who sail nearby report much howling and other animal noises. No-one has ever reported landing on the island.

Towns

Abalone - Capital of the Wavecrest Archipelago. The home office of the Relaxed Dolphin Cruse and Shipping Company is based there.

Amber Depths - An underwater town of Fish Beastmen. It would be a fairly boring farming town if it weren't underwater. A nearby Barbarian tribe raids them with frequency.

Cerulean Spire - An island town with a giant spire in the center made of blue crystal. It has some First Age Ruins a little way from the town.

Hidden Shores - An outlaw town that caters to anyone with money, built on the remains of a First Age resort island that apparently changes locations periodically to keep the Realm away.

Seven Waves - A fishing village with a nearby Immaculate Monastery. Noted for being faithful immaculates, ruled by women, and Realm Loyalists.

Silver Mountain Village - A fairly normal fishing village which somehow managed to become matriarchal.

Ten Trees - A random patch of freshwater in the middle of the ocean has sprouted a forest, including some trees Haltans would be proud of. A village has developed here in among the trees.

Rainbow Boulders - A normal fishing village which seems to have retained some odd looking first age buildings.

Magical Places

Isle of White Trees - A small island with a large number of bleached, dead trees on it. Strange looking zombies roam the island at night.

The Adamant City - An island in a Wyld Zone. It still retains some of it's First Age buildings.

Rui, The Lost Fortress - A First Age naval base of immense power, it was lost during the Usurpation. Anyone who could find it could easily carve out a new nation in the West.

The Lead Pyramids - In various locations across the West exist small rocky islands that contain nothing save a large Pyramid made from lead blocks. There is no obvious means of entering these structures.
