Darkness coats the length of the Deathknight's weapon and it drips off it. Poisoned hate from the Neverborn themselves taken physical form by the twisted soul of one of the Sun's champions and drips from the weapon into the weeping earth. When wielded against an essence wielder a successful damaging hit will poison them. Their essence in unused motes, starting with the Personal mote pool, become poisoned. Using these motes causes the essence wielder to take a die of lethal damage for each mote used. Multiple strikes will further poison their pools. This poisoned mote pool cleans itself at a rate of a point a day. What is worth is the landscape around the user of this weapon. When used outside the Underworld it infects the normal essence flows. Anyone not a Creature of Death trying to regain motes of essence within 10 yards of where the weapon has been must make a successful Stamina+Resistance roll a the Abyssal's Whispers rating to regain motes from a charm or stunt each time. This poisoned landscape heals in a day.
