Character Description
Caolin used to be a princess. When her father died under mysterious circumstances she reluctantly accepted her responsibilities, however before she could be crowned queen she was kidnapped and sold to slavers. Her nefarious cousin, having engineered everything, took the throne himself and made sure that the slavers were paid well to take her off into the wilderness and sell her to the Fair Folk. Upon reaching the bordermarches, Caolin managed to break her bonds and escape, taking out a few of the slavers and a couple of Fair Folk as she fled. She was found shortly after by members of the Silver Pact, tatooed and trained in the ways of the No Moons. Now she wanders Creation seeking a chance to reclaim her kingdom, and all the while searching for her long lost brother.

The fact that you used the phrase "her nefarious cousin" in the backrgound makes me like this character. ~_^\\ _Ikselam
Y'know, I'm not sure what happened there. I got to the background and thought, 'hmm, should probably write something to go here now or I'll forget about it', and when I reached that bit I had this sudden urge to use the word 'nefarious' like someone had crept up behind me and hit me round the head with it... I'm going to go and write up her proper background now (as in, the not-so-short, not-so-movie-of-the-week version) and I promise to make sure I use the 'her nefarious cousin' phrase again ;-) - Garden
