Lunar Dodge

Bowing Reed Method
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 1
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: None.
The Lunar moves with the supple grace of green reeds. Activation of this charm grants the Lunar a full dodge pool for the turn, starting at his full Dexterity+Dodge pool(As if the Lunar had received an extra action in the turn, which serves only to be aborted to a full dodge defense). This Charm can only be used once per turn, and so, the Lunar cannot 'refresh' this pool.

Bending Before the Storm
Cost: 1 mote
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 1
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: Bowing Reed Method.
Allows the Lunar to ignore the penalties for successive Dodges when making a Full Dodge.

Pack-Saving Method
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 2
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: Bowing Reed Method.
Using his superhuman speed, a Lunar with this charm may dodge any attack he is aware for an ally within twice his Permanent Essence in yards. This is a Dodge attempt at the Lunar’s full pool, and even one success already changes the target of the attack from the original to the Lunar. If the Lunar botches, however, both him and the target take the attack, and may make no further active defense against it. The shielded character cannot decline the Lunar's help. The Lunar does not need to roll to simply defend the shielded character if he does not intend to Dodge it himself.

Eclipse Shield Stance
Cost: 5 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Pack-Saving Method
Created to protect and guard as much as to fight, this is one of the Lunars' primary functions - and they are the best at it. They can protect another, their charge, against any and all threats... against the dangers of an angry Creation itself. The Lunar may protect an ally within twice his permanent essence in yards against any harm, changing the target of a single attack attack from the ally to himself. This is a Perfect Defense, and may redirect any and all manners of attacks. If the Lunar uses Charms while standing in the place of the ally, he may add his Compassion rating to all actions taken, be they defenses or counterattacks.

Dancing Winds Instinct
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Dexterity: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Bending Before the Storm, Overwhelming Lunar Dexterity
The Lunar's moves freely through the air, and he may easily evade any danger that comes in his way. For the remainder of the scene, the Lunar adds his Dexterity to all Dodge attempts. If he does not possess a Dodge, he may dodge the attack with a dice pool equal to his Dexterity.

Moonsilver Wind Stance
Cost: 6 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Dexterity: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Dancing Winds Instinct, Unparallaled Lunar Dexterity
The Lunar’s ephemeral nature is heightened– his movements mercurial, like a dream, always there, never there, barely noticing what comes for him and simply brushing threats aside without effort. For the remainder of the scene, the Lunar converts a number of dice equal to his Dexterity into automatic successes in any dodge attempt.

Ground-Denying Defense
Cost: 2 motes per enemy
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Dexterity of the Moon-Kissed.
In clear terrain, five opponents can attack a single target in a turn. With the Lunar's mastery of movement and mobility, a Lunar can use the terrain and his opponent's own actions to limit the number of attackers he faces in any given turn. Every 2 motes spent, the Lunar reduces the number of people able to attack him in a single turn by one, minimum one. The exact effect depends on the moment - if used after one has struck, no others can do so; If used before any can attack, others may hold their attack so only their chosen one will.

Foot-Trapping Counter
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Dexterity of the Moon-Kissed.
With the understanding of how to move perfectly, comes the knowledge of how to stop others to move. When an opponent tries to move away, the Lunar activates this Charm and the opponents has to roll Dexterity+Athletics with a difficulty equal to the Lunar's Dexterity. If the opponent succeeds, she can move, if she fails, she must remain. This can stop hopping defenses, and even movements such as Avoidance Kata.

Wind-Dancing Method
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Dexterity of the Moon-Kissed.
With the understanding of how to move perfectly, comes the ability to do so freely. By using this Charm, after successfully Dodging an attack, the Lunar can move up to twice her Dexterity in yards, even if the Lunar has already moved that turn. This is a Hopping Defense.

Flowing Body Evasion
Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Bowing Reed Method, Wind-Dancing Method.
Suffusing her body with essence, the Lunar lets her form go. She moves faster than she possibly should, because her body is not quite there, moving in the air like ripples in the water, without weight, with a form that flows out of all harm's way... and even if harm finds it, it simply opens up for it. The Lunar may perfectly dodge a single attack against herself, even if it was an area attack or undodgeable.

Lunar Parry

Feline Guard Technique
Cost: 4+ motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 2
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: None.
Activation of this charm grants the Lunar a full parry pool for the turn, starting at his full parry pool, with a maximum of defenses equal to the Lunar's rate as usual(As if the Lunar had received an extra action in the turn, which serves only to be aborted to a full parry defense - the rate counts separately on this action as it does for anything else in the turn). This Charm can only be used once per turn, and so, the Lunar cannot 'refresh' this pool. He may parry lethal damage unarmed. For this and all Charms in this Cascade, the Lunar may use either his Wits or Dexterity to parry any attack. The Lunar may also buy extra rate for his weapon, for defensive purposes only, at the cost of 1m per extra rate, reflexively, at any point on the turn this charm was activated.

Den Mother Method
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Feline Guard Technique.
Using his superhuman reflexes, a Lunar with this charm may parry any attack he is aware for an ally within his Permanent Essence in yards. This is a parry attempt at the Lunar’s full pool, and even if it does not fully deflect the attack, its successes aid the ally’s own parry or dodge against the attack.

Crouching Tiger Stance
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Feline Guard Technique.
The Lunar moves skillfully, his reflexes lightning-fast, his reactions blinding as he goes from the defensive to the offensive position against any hand-to-hand attack. The Lunar makes a parry attempt at his full pool – and if he successfully parries the attack, he may launch a hand-to-hand counterattack against his assailant.

Moonsilver Tiger Stance
Cost: 4 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Wits: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Feline Guard Technique, Overwhelming Lunar Wits
The Lunar’s instincts permeate him – he moves with the surety of a beast that has lived since the dawn of time, one that has made combat and survival a struggle of its life, simple and mechanical as eating or sleeping. For the remainder of the scene, the Lunar adds his Wits to all parry attempts. If he does not possess a parry, he may parry the attack with a dice pool equal to his Wits.

Shining Tiger Instinct
Cost: 6 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Wits: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Moonsilver Tiger Stance, Unparallaled Lunar Wits
The Lunar's reactions become those of the smallest of beasts, his instincts noticing everything around him and dealing with it. For the remainder of the scene, the Lunar converts a number of dice equal to his Wits into automatic successes in any parry attempt.

White Tiger Block
Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Feline Guard Technique, Wits of the Moon-Kissed.
Surrounded by a corona of moonlight, the Lunar's limb moves swiftly to interpose itself in the path of any and all attacks, changing its length and density, twisting in impossible ways, able to move in the way of a knife and a falling boulder all the same. The Lunar may perfectly parry a single attack against herself.

Lunar Resistance

Hide-Toughening Essence
Cost: 1 mote per 2B or 1L
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Stamina: 2
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: Silver-Soul’s Stamina.
The Lunar reinforces his skin, making it thicker, stronger, using the precepts of bone and cartillage and callouses to make his skin nearly impervious to some sort of danger! It is mostly unnoticeable, but careful observers(a Perception+Awareness roll at difficulty 3) can pick the changes to the Lunar's frame. This Charm costs 1 mote per 2 Bashing Soak or 1 Lethal Soak added, and may not spend more motes than his Stamina. The Lunar may wear armor with this Charm as usual.

Limb-Shielding Growth
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Stamina: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Hide-Toughening Essence.
The Lunar grows a natural shield, formed out of bone or flesh, or even sparkling silver or feathered, irisdecent eyes. Sometimes it is little more than a distraction, and not a hard slab to stop blows. The shield's cover adds 2 to the difficulty of all ranged combat attacks, and 1 to the difficulty of all close combat attacks.

Scales of the Dragon
Cost: 6 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Stamina: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Limb-Shielding Growth.
Using this Charm, the Lunar transforms his skin to resemble the hide of a ferocious Celestial Dragon. His body is covered with a series of overlapping Moonsilver-reinforced scales that glisten coldly in the light and provide formidable protection against all forms of attack. This is an armor, and thus, not compatible with any other forms of armor. It provides +9L/+9B soak and Hardness, which does not count as armor for the purposes of effects that ignore armor, but does count as armor to stop aggravated attacks.

Silver Fortress of Worth
Cost: 4 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Stamina: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Hide-Toughening Essence.
The Lunar reinforces his natural armor with his Celestial Station, silver white motes burning around his body for a moment before disappearing, his body retaining a certain quality of something as untouchable as the Moon in the night sky - anything below his station ceases to be a concern entirely. For the remainder of the scene, the Lunar's Natural Soak becomes hardness against all attacks not enhanced by Charms.

Flesh of Adamantine
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Stamina: 5
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Silver Fortress of Worth.
In a flare of power, the Lunar orders his whole body to tighten. The Lunar's flesh becomes as stone, his bones as adamant, his natural defenses as impenetrable as the barriers of reality. It takes much power to maintain such a powerful change to the Lunar's shape, but for that instant, against one single attack, the Lunar turns his Natural Bashing and Lethal Soak into Hardness, as his form shifts into its hardest.

Invulnerable Moonsilver Carapace
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Stamina: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Scales of the Dragon, Flesh of Adamantine.
Moonsilver comes out of all the pores of the Lunar's bodu, covering him in shining moonlight, sounds like night rivers echoing around the Lunar as this beautiful, serene proccess completes, as sublime as a butterfly opening her wings out of the cocoon. It covers the entirety of the Lunar, and is compatible with any armor or prop the Lunar may don. During the turn this Charm is activated, the Lunar receives Armor Soak and Hardness equal to four times his Essence with no detrimental effects. This soak is Perfect and may not be circumvented in any way.

Liquid Armor Technique
Cost: 6 motes, 1 health level
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Stamina: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Hide-Toughening Essence.
The Lunar's protean abilities reach to the armor around him, his blood drenching its inside and allowing him to reshape the armor slightly, making it lighter, fitting exactly for his body to move within. He may change its color or make his tatoos appear above it as if it was his flesh. Thereafter, the Lunar ignores its Mobility and Fatigue penalties, and translates half of its soak into Hardness.

Armor-Absorbing Method
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower, 1 health level
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Stamina: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Armor-Grafting Technique.
The Lunar absorbs the armor in himself, reshaping it as part of his body. It becomes no different than a shell for his body, bone protusions of many sorts of beasts. For the remainder of the scene, the armor is considered to be part of the Lunar's Natural Soak, for all purposes including Charms, but able to soak aggravated damage as usual. The armor becomes part of the Lunar's body, but is still too bulky for any other armor to be worn above it. The Health Level spent powering this Charm is committed. This Charm has no effect on Magical Material Armor of materials other than Moonsilver.

Comments

Please use this part ^^ Though, I thank you for doing the tweaks you did... just prefer the charms to remain without long comments beneath them, since I constantly tweak them. I hope you will forgive me for arranging your questions here in a way I will be able to answer them better... :

Bowing Reed Method: I'm not clear on what this actually does. Moonsilver Wind Stance: Does this provide an automatic defense like Dancing Winds Instinct? Feline Guard Technique: What does this mean, a 'full parry pool'? --Kukla
Bowing Reed and Feline Guard : Simply that! You receive an extra action for defense only which serves only to be aborted to Parry or Dodge. I clarified it a little more, but if you are still left with doubts, you can find the description of a Full Parry on the page 200 of the Player's Guide, and of a Full Dodge in the page 231 of the Corebook. As for Moonsilver Wind, it converts dice. Therefore, it converts 0 dice of defense into 0 automatic successes! Which also means 'no' -- GoldenCat
