Phoenix Feather Rain
Mel, my Twilight-caste archer and healer from hplovescats's campaign, used the basic version of this with a target arrow and the Crimson Bow to pop one of the horrible Wyld monstrosities the party ran into in a single shot, prompting the ruling that extra successes on an attack roll only applied once to damage when multiple hits used a single attack roll. It's a good ruling. It keeps Air Immaculates and the improved version of this combo in line.
- Dazzling Flare Attack (1 mote/+2 damage)
- Adds +2 to damage per mote, and +1 to accuracy.
- Rain of Feathered Death (3 motes/duplicate)
- Creates an Essence duplicate of an arrow for every 3 motes spent.
The improved version, which I should have bought at character creation, but didn't, includes
- Accuracy Without Distance (1 mote, 1 willpower)
- The shot enhanced with this charm cannot miss. This is a perfect attack.
