The Solar exalted wield supernatural martial arts brilliantly, but given the charms they are accustomed to, it is only natural that they would try to transcend their limitations. This device allows them to shed one of those limitations - that of the form charm. This device, a belt of white cloth woven with threads of magical materials, can be worn anywhere on the body; however, only one can be attuned at once. It allows the martial artist to attune a Terrestrial or Celestial level form charm into the artifact; they may then use that form charm reflexively (or simply, if the ST feels this is too powerful) without charm use or costs, and in conjunction with another form - a shadow of themselves performing the katas of the form will be visible around them while it is active. This allows them to activate a second form charm of their own choosing. The attunement of this device is equal to the activation cost of the chosen form +2 motes. | The Solar exalted wield supernatural martial arts brilliantly, but given the charms they are accustomed to, it is only natural that they would try to transcend their limitations.

While I do enjoy this artifact, I've got a question about it: Can I activate my committed form as a reflexive action, or must I use a simple action? Also, imagine this plus Perfected Kata Bracers. One second, you're a normal guy, the next, there's colored bands whirling about you, ghostly images of you tracing out a supernatural form, and you're just kicking many butts. -- GreenLantern
Hmm. I'm trying to remember what I originally intended - I think, based on saying it doesn't require a charm use, that it would work reflexively. But, if an ST thought it was too powerful that would be an easy balance thing. And yes, I like that combination of effects rather a lot.- TheHoverpope
What does this device look like? And can I wear two of them? - IanPrice
