Just for the record:
A) You may not use performance to dodge outside of using DoSJ. (Sorry, but although I buy the technique, I want dodge to have value.)
However:
B) You may still add your essence and hearthstone bracers dodge bonus to DoSJ even if you are using performance.
c) Performance enhancing charms may also be used to affect (effect?) your rolls for DoSJ, just make sure I know about it.
If anyone want's to discuss i am open to it, but my rationale is that I am not going to let you use dodge as a social ability outside of the charmset, and so vice versa with regards to performance. In addition, I beleive that allowing basic dodges with performance would create even more incentive to max performance and less incentive to get dodge.
