Charm Writeups
Charm ideas and Commentary
If we're lining up Virtues with Abilities, Performance should use Compassion. --MUrielw
"The worst part is, she really does love you. And she'll keep loving you when she destroys the world. It's just the way she remade herself."
I propose that Infernal Performance is not built on faking emotions or any sort of trickery. Rather, the Infernal reaches in to herself and carves her soul in to believing the lies she wishes to tell, or makes the lie a truth. Infernals do not destroy the world because they hate it, after all, but because they love it. For example, if she needed to seduce someone, an Infernal would cause herself to love that person with a desperate sincerity, using her Compassion to enhance her attempt to earn the amorous attention of her true love. And yet as soon as she fulfills this love, like a sprung trap her soul will unravel in to it's original indifference. --Kukla

Also, keep in mind that little blurb in GoD that says something along the lines of "The Yozis are peerless dancers and musicians, and though their art can as easily kill as heal, there is no malice in it" (emphasis mine). So Performance should be the single exception to the whole "lies, deceit, and pain forevermore." It's the only honest thing they have left. - OhJames

- There should be plenty of honesty elsewhere, but this should be the exception to the PAIN! in the rest of the charmset. Here's where we can have the hints that the Yozis might actually lack an objection to someone, somewhere, having fun. --MUrielw
