While she is an Avatar of Darkness, the character is immune to most damage, but she cannot physically attack others. The character can also see through even the deepest blackness while in Avatar of Darkness form.

Creature of Ill Omen

  • Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: Indefinite
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Survival: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: None

The Gothic Lolita chooses an animal no larger than a large dog and no smaller than a field mouse. This animal is chosen the moment the Lolita learns the Charm and cannot be changed later (the Charm would have to be purchased again to choose a second animal). Most Gothic Lolitas pick cats, owls, bats or other creatures of the night. The Lolita gains the ability to shapechange into the form of that particular creature. Her Dexterity increases by two points and her Stamina increases by one point. In addition, her running speed and jumping distance are doubled, and she heals one point of bashing damage per turn. She may use all her Charms and natural abilities in this form, if conceivable, but her equipment merges with her form and doesn’t provide any benefit while the character is shapechanged. She must spend an additional five motes to return to her human form.

Feeding on Humiliation Technique

  • Cost: None
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Type: Special
  • Minimum Survival: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: None

It is a fact: Gothic Lolitas feed on the suffering of others and enjoy it in an almost erotic way. This Charm is a good example of this. For each time this Charm is taken, the Gothic Lolita adds an additional 10 motes to her Peripheral Moe pool. However, the Exalt can only fill this extra capacity by one of the following methods:

  • Essence-draining magic
  • Gain half the health levels of every creature the Lolita slays single-handedly, in motes
  • Gain the Lolita’s permanent Moe in motes every time she somehow lowers a creature’s Willpower or any of his Social Attributes

Characters cannot take this Charm more times than their permanent Moe rating.

End of the Food Chain Method

  • Cost: 10 motes
  • Duration: One day
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 1
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Survival Insight of the Lolita

The Lolita amplifies her majesty and menacing attitude to ward off animals. Herbivores and domesticated animals avoid the character completely and panic if directly confronted. Most non-magical predators keep their distance, fighting only as a last resort if cornered. This Charm has less effect on magical beasts and super-predators such as tyrant lizards and siaka. Such beings can overcome the aversion with a successful Willpower roll, although they still suffer a +1 difficulty to attack the Exalt.

Full Metal Leash

  • Cost: 10 motes, 1 Willpower, 1 experience point
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: End of the Food Chain Method

Gothic Lolitas enjoy the company of animals. Some younger ones prefer toys, while the oldest ones prefer live animals, especially big and dangerous creatures. Gothic Lolitas can mystically chain a beast to their will by beating the creature into submission or otherwise abusing it to establish dominance. The Exalt can only se this Charm is she has no familiar, and using it on a new animal for the first time removes her Familiar Background entirely. The character gains one dot of the Familiar Background each time she uses this Charm, although she can only have one Familiar at a time. When the Exalt’s Familiar Background reaches a sufficient level to have the animal as a Familiar, it becomes her familiar. Thus, it would take three applications of this Charm to enslave a tiger, and two more to give the Exalt the abilities conveyed by Familiar 5. Although dangerous animals make superior slaves, it takes considerably more work to tame them. Beating an angry bear until it cowers in obedience can be problematic at best, to say nothing of subduing a full-grown tyrant lizard. Characters should prepare for appropriately epic combat unless they plan on raising such monsters from birth.

Lolita Animal Training Procedures

  • Cost: 10 motes, 2 Willpower
  • Duration: One week
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Full Metal Leash

Animals trained with the harsh and ruthless Gothic Lolita become more obedient and powerful. This Charm involves training a natural animal or familiar. This Charm requires five or more hours of effort in any given week to bear fruit. This Charm replaces the normal effects of that training. In each week of training, the trainer picks one of the following to train:

  • Strength, Dexterity, Stamina or Perception. This Charm increases the animal’s Attribute by one dot, to a maximum of (its species’ average + 2).
  • Valor. This Charm increases the animal’s Valor by one dot, to a maximum of 4.
  • Athletics, Awareness, Brawl, Endurance, Resistance or Survival. This Charm increases the animal’s Ability by one dot, to a maximum of the Lolita’s own rating in that Ability.
  • Health and size. This Charm gives the animal an additional -1 health level and, optionally, increases its size by 10%. This Charm can give an animal a number of extra levels no greater than its Stamina.
  • Intelligence. This Charm gives the animal the effective intelligence of a six-year-old-human.

Using this Charm on a familiar increases all of these maximums by one and allows training the animal to adult human intelligence.

Reality Revision: Avatar of Darkness

  • Cost: 20 motes, 1 Willpower, 1 lethal health level
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 6
  • Minimum Moe: 6
  • Prerequisite Charms: Creature of Ill Omen, Absolute Gothic Lolita Survival, Lolita Animal Training Procedures

The Gothic Lolita using this Charm transforms her body into a thing of living shadow. The form this living shadow takes depends on the Lolita’s personality. For some, the form may be undulating and serpentine, while it might be a formless cloud for others. Still others might take an ominous and imposing monolithic shape. Whatever it is, it’s always the stuff of nightmares. While assuming the form of the Avatar of Darkness, the Gothic Lolita is virtually immune to harm. She can only be hurt by weapons made entirely of Moe. She can pass through slight cracks and very small openings by extruding her shadow essence to the necessary thickness.

While she is an Avatar of Darkness, the character is immune to most damage, but she cannot physically attack others. The most she can get away is to wrap a victim in inky blackness, which is frightening enough to most beings (those with Valor less than 4) to require a roll to avoid panic. The character can also see through even the deepest blackness while in Avatar of Darkness form.

The Avatar of Darkness has a form of attack, notable for its difficulty. The Lolita must spend 10 motes and roll Manipulation + Brawl/Martial Arts (whichever she prefers), with a difficulty of her own permanent Moe. Each success creates one tentacle of darkness. The character then rolls her Survival rating, the number of successes becoming the tentacles’ Strength and Dexterity scores. The player may expend additional Moe to increase the Strength or Dexterity of a single tentacle by 1 per 5 motes, or increase its length by six feet per 5 motes. The tentacles can undertake mundane tasks such as lifting objects, and they can make simple bludgeoning attacks. They do (Strength) bashing damage. Alternatively, they can be used to grapple, constricting for (Strength +1) levels of bashing damage if they succeed. The tentacles also grant a +4 bonus to Speed and a +2 bonus to Accuracy and Defense.

Impervious Loli Method

  • Cost: 10 motes
  • Duration: Indefinite
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: Survival Insight of the Lolita

The wilderness doesn’t stand a chance against the toughness of Gothic Lolitas. This Charm negates any environmental penalties to Survival rolls made for the Gothic Lolita. This means that the coldest glacier and the hottest desert are no more deadly for the Lolita than the gentlest rolling plain. She can find food and water easily, she ignores inclement weather even when dressed in nothing but a silk nightgown, and she does not suffer undue blisters, bug bites or plant poison even when walking barefoot through the wildest jungles. This Charm does not protect against environmental damage, however, so if the environment is deadly enough to force regular Resistance rolls, this Charm won’t help against it.

Lolita's Reverie

  • Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: Indefinite
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Impervious Loli Method

Curling herself into a fetal position, the Lolita goes to a state of temporal stasis protected by nature. She may mystically sink into the earth, camouflage herself within the leaves of a large tree or even hide within a cloud (if she can reach that altitude). The character leaves no trace of her concealment, slipping into a state of suspended animation. She does not breathe, but she still hungers normally. The Charm lasts as long as the Lolita commits Moe to the Charm, unless the character is injured or uncovered from her hideout. Once the Charm ends for whatever reason, she arrives to surface ground and immediately regains consciousness. Characters regain Moe normally while in stasis; although motes used to power the Charm remain committed during its duration.

Dancer of Flames Method

  • Cost: None
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Type: Special
  • Minimum Survival: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Impervious Loli Method

This Charm enhances the Impervious Loli Method. When using that Charm, the Loli now becomes immune to environmental hazards. She can survive in a bonfire, underwater, in a volcano’s caldera, or in a pool of boiling acid, all with ease. She may still be affected by similar effects when directly inflicted upon her by some character’s action.

Dark Goddess of Nature Method

  • Cost: None
  • Duration: Special
  • Type: Permanent
  • Minimum Survival: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 4
  • Prerequisite Charms: Impervious Loli Method

This Charm enhances the Impervious Loli Method. It reduces that Charm’s cost to 5 motes and allows the character to activate Impervious Loli Method even when she’s inactive. If the Lolita has Moe 6 or more, this Charm negates the cost for Impervious Loli Method entirely.

Natural Intuition of Direction

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Survival: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Impervious Loli Method

Many magical girls are clumsy, some are plain stupid. Gothic Lolitas reject such inferior mentalities and combine beauty with incredible wits. For this reason, their sense of direction is unmatched. The character may add her Moe in automatic successes to a single attempt to navigate a maze or similarly convoluted network of passages. This Charm also aids in navigating the Labyrinth beneath the Underworld, although to a lesser degree. Characters can only unravel short stretches at a time, and this Charm only applies to a single navigation roll.

Note: I so have to give more detail to the Underworld after this. Oh well.

Mistress of the Hunt Method

  • Cost: 8 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Survival: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Impervious Loli Method

Lolitas chase and hunt down their enemies with a relentless passion. This Charm supplements a roll to track an opponent. It guarantees that the Lolita achieves at least (target’s successes + 1) successes on the tracking contest, after taking all penalties into account. If another Charm contests this effect, add the Lolita’s Moe in automatic successes to her opposed roll to maintain the effects of this Charm.

White Silk Veil March

  • Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Survival: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Mistress of the Hunt Method

The Gothic Lolita becomes a ghostly apparition clad in a translucent white gown. She leaves no footprints or scent or any sign of her passing that can be detected by conventional means. This Charm affects the Lolita or a group she leads with a Magnitude no greater than her Moe. It enhances a roll made to travel without leaving signs of her (or the group’s presence). This Charm guarantees than any tracker achieves, at most, zero successes on the contest to track the character or group. If another Charm contests this effect, such as the Mistress of the Hunt Method, add the Lolita’s Moe in automatic successes to her opposed roll to maintain the effects of this Charm.
