The solar reaches out softly to take hold of a certain part of another person's essence and pulls it away and into herself.  She has stolen the other person's identity and for one full day no one will recognize the the other person as anything but a complete stranger.  The Lawgiver to all senses seems to be that person now.  It does not give her access to the other person's memories though small mannerisms and responses are duplicated.  Things she does while as that identity are remembered being attributed to the actual person once the effect wears off and things the other person does are remembered as the acts of some stranger no one had met before.  This charm is effectively a perfect effect and normal supernatural perceptions will not penetrate it.

It's good that it's not a limit, as it's almost completely useless on weapons stored with the various blade summon/banish charms... as they can just summon them again the instant they realise it's been stolen.<br>

Theft of Hidden Things

Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Day
Type: Simple
Minimum Larceny: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Magpie's Invisable Talon, Perfect Mirror

The solar reaches out softly, takes ahold of a certain part of another person's essence and pulls it away and into herself. She has stolen the other person's identity, and for one full day no one will recognize the other person as anything but a complete stranger. The solar is seen by all to be who that person was. It does not give her access to the other person's memories, though small mannerisms and responses are duplicated. Things she does while as that identity are remembered being attributed to the actual person once the effect wears off, and things the other person does are remembered as the acts of some stranger no one had met before.

Theft of the Hidden Treasure: very nice! I'd recommend the traditional "does not work on a target with higher Essence," of course, and possibly allow a Wits + Awareness (or Perception + Occult, or whatever) roll to determine the identity of the thief. - Quendalon

To figure out the identity look for the person with the big ass daiklaive in his hands that looks strangely familiar. ^_^ -BogMod

Not every weapon is a big-ass daiklave.  :) And for that matter, there's no indication here that the thief can't be invisible, or in the thick of a crowd, or on the other side of a brick wall. By the way, why limit the effect to weapons? All sorts of non-weaponly stuff can get stored in Elsewhere. - Quendalon

Its not limit, just an example. -BogMod

It's good that it's not a limit, as it's almost completely useless on weapons stored with the various blade summon/banish charms... as they can just summon them again the instant they realise it's been stolen.
