Infernals
As described by (I believe) Neph: the difference between Infernals and Abyssals is that Infernals are damned and Abyssals are doomed. The difference is is that Abyssals, in exchange for power, surrendered themselves to a dark future one from which there is no hope of escape, while Infernals, in exchange for even greater power, choose to live on in a state of continual torment and suffering. One you are on a road to nothingness; the other you have arrived at eternal pain and suffering, growing in greater and greater power as their soul gets even more torn apart. Deathlords may torture a Solar into becoming an Abyssal, but they are by no means the masters at torture that a Yozi is, seeing as how they are in a continual state of torment.
Themes
A common theme for Abyssals is the lack of escape from the inevitible. This can be seen in their charms. While Solars gain dice to hit something, Abyssal charms take away dice of a dodge or parry. Infernals therefore should have a theme of unblockable, undodgeable, or unsoakable attacks. One possible example is instead of the Solar Archery Charm "Fiery Arrow Attack" that adds dice to the damage, one possible difference is "Engulfing in Hades Flames" which engulfs the target in fire and converts the damage to environmental damage, which isn't soakable by armor.
