Army vs Army- the Simple Case
If two armies meet on the field of battle, treat it as though the commanders were fighting. The only difference is that damage is assessed to the army instead of the Commander. Otherwise, they roll for initative, declare their number of actions, and roll attacks and defenses as per normal.
As a note, an Army that goes to Full Dodge loses it's Spirit bonus to Defense for the dodging. A Full Dodge, in Clash terms, is like a controlled retreat, attempting to minimize damage without any attempt to counterattack. It's downright demoralizing to the troops.
