Anima imposing method

Cost: 4 motes, 1WP
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious
Min. Lore: 5
Min Essence: 3
Prereqs: Essence-Lending Method, Any Lore Excellency

Using this charm, the Exalt can impose his anima on an artifact and thus, instantly force full attunement with it. Make a Wits + Lore roll as per the rules on page 338 in the Core book (save that the difficulty for Orichalcum is Standard) and add the Exalts permanent Essence in Automatic successes. Each success above the required lower the attunement cost by 1. The cost can not be lower then half the original. For an artifact of any other material then Orichalcum , the cost is doubled before subtracting from it. At Essence 5, Any Artifact attuned with this charm is perfectly immune to Breaking effects. Adittionaly, the folowing tecniques can be purchaed for 1 Xp each.

  • Stern attunement

Charcter with this technique applies an external penalty equal to their Essence to any atempt to break attunments made with this charm or disrupt the affected artefact.

  • Presistant attunement

When this technique is purchased, all attunements made with this remain utill the Exalt withdraws the comitted motes. Note: I got the idea from Neph, hence the late addition of the last effect.

The Exalt makes a Lore + Manipulation roll at a difficulty equal to the artefact’s rating and if this succeeds, spends the motes and the exp. If the charm fails, it cannot be used again on the same item for a day. Additionally, some restrictions apply. Solars can be harmonized with any material. Other celestial exalts can be harmonized with all materials except Orichalcum, since this omnipotent material can only resonate naturally with solar animas. Dragon Bloods, being the lowest Exalts, can not be harmonized with other materials. The notable exception to this rule is Alchemicals, which can be harmonized with any materials due to their innate connection to The Great Maker and the magical materials. After the infusion, both the native exalt type and the harmonized exalt type can attune to it normally. This was the technique used to make “Flying Silver Dreamâ€
