Va-Sji, the Lonely Grave
The Va-Sji are the desire of all things to stop being. They are the urge that one must always fight to lay down, to surrender one's arms in the face of a thousand different conflicting purposes, to adopt simplicity and peace above all else. They are compelling, and they are lethal.
They appear as a monk sitting in a lotus position with eyes closed, in emerald green robes. They sit perfectly still, consuming nothing but tea, which they take at dawn, noon, midafternoon, and sundown; this is the only thing for which they move of their own volition. They never leave lotus position; even in battle, they flit around, blinking out of one location and appearing in another. They are known for their abilities to foretell the future, to know what is to come; they tell it to any who seek this information on one condition: the one who seeks knowledge must sit and meditate with them for the duration of the divination. Any who do stay and meditate with them for any reason are slowly compelled to do so again, to continue to embrace the peace that is offered them. And in time, they are taken into a sort of slow living death, unable to ever again do anything but sit peacefully in the lotus position and meditate. This is the origin of their name; those who are taken in will not die of natural causes, but instead sit always still, leaving their graves open.

The Va-Sji's essence Inveigle is about meditation, not sex, but otherwise is identical. Their summon food produces the world's finest teas, capable of sustaining any who drink them. Their Geas compels others to stay and meditate with them. In battle they teleport rather than walking or running, although this is limited to the normal range of movement and has no cost; it is purely stylistic. They use paralyze with nearly every strike in battle, and when their victim is incapacitated they use Geas to force their victims to stay. After a full month of meditation with the Va-Sji for any reason, the victim is taken in by their power; they no longer need food or water, but are in a very real sense dead and will never take another action other than meditation or drinking tea. Celestial shards do consider this to be death and will flee the body of the unlucky exalt taken in.
I just want to say how impressed I am by the detail and quality of these demonic submissions. I don't think you get enough props for your work, but I find it far superior to the published demon listings. -- GregLink
