Return of the Monkey King! -- Hapushet
The party is traveling through the forests of the East when they find themselves in the village of Nine Bridges, home of the largest temple to Minxeru, the Monkey King, a trickster god of the Southeast. For reasons of politics, religion or simply personal distaste, the party finds itself in opposition to Minxeru, a conflict that eventually erupts into violence. After a brutal battle, the party is able to defeat and slay Minxeru, using Charms or other effects to end his existence permanently.
The party travels on. Some weeks later, however, they are stunned to hear reports that Minxeru has returned to Nine Bridges and begun rebuilding his cult there. Did the party fail to slay him after all? Or has someone - or something - taken the place of the Monkey King?
Perfect? -- Overshee
The party is traveling near Paragon when, overnight, a mysterious figure comes to greet them. Cloaked in shadows he introduces himself as a simple messenger. He knows all the parties goals (or that they are Anathema) and does his best to lure the party into entering Paragon by enticing or making them follow somehow. As soon as they enter the city the figure simply disappears and a huge number of branded and oath-sworn Exalts overwhelm the party. They are taken to Perfect, where they are diatribed to by the ruler of the city and are branded and a huge number of oaths are forced upon them. After a few days they are approached by a resistance group who have figured out how to remove the oaths. They are offered a chance of freedom if they will take down Perfect.
Will they do it? What will happen to Paragon? And who, exactly, are these rebels.

As the characters are passing through a small town, they are disturbed to note extensive ancestor worship and death-imagery amongst the locals. They are told that the Avatar of the Dead guards the town, protecting it from any who would disturb it. Upon further investigation, it turns out that the 'Avatar' is a rogue Abyssal, more interested in garnering worship and followers than in destroying Creation - or at least so he claims. However, he is gradually convincing other nearby towns to worship him. On the other hand, he and his horde of undead minions are also protecting the region from the depradations of the fae. Is the good that they are doing equal to the damage they are causing to the cycle of reincarnation? Can the characters kill a rogue Abyssal knowing that his shard will return to the Deathlords? Is there a third path that they can take?
Stolen -- Paincake A ragged survivor of a Dynast attack reveals smatterings that can be pieced together to form the following: The dynasts destroyed their God, who guarded a mighty God-treasure. A Teodozjia has guarded the town of Obsidian Mane's secret treasure since before the Usurpation. Trapped in a sealed tomb, unable to break its geas, upon discovery by the Townsfolk it became their Messiah and preached the gospel of the Yozis. A passing Immaculate barely escaped with his life, and soon after a group of armed Dynasts descended on the town in force, destroyed the demon's physical body, and slaughtered half the townsfolk. The Dynasts have taken what they believe to be the treasure from the tomb, and they make haste to decipher it's secrets. The populace is under guard pending execution. The elder circle of the town is mostly dead, but from the rantings of the angry survivor the players gather that some few survive who remember the Teodozjia's true name. With it, it can be summoned forth again to reveal the nature of the Artifact and secrets of the Tomb itself. including the location of the true artifact. However, once the Circle has dealt with the Dragon Blooded, what is to stop the townsfolk from resuming their foul demon-worship? The Teodozjia will also surely lie about the origin of the artifact.. which may well be Infernal in nature.
Yea, I Will Follow Thee Even Unto Death Or Grievous Bodily Harm -- Han'ya
The characters save a town/city/village/kingdom/principality/WTFEVER from something evil-tastic. As they are about to leave, a group of obnoxious followers lead by an obnoxious NPC appear and declare themselves the loyal-unto-death followers of their saviors, the PCs, who they now worship as gods. For some reason, your PCs will have a problem with this (perhaps the followers are delivering door-to-door pamphlets, burning "witches", or something similarly antisocial. Maybe they declared a holy war while you were sleeping) and will have to find some way to get rid of their cult, which is only growing as they complete new epic three-die stunts and generally be their awesome selves (feel free to chuck gratuitous amounts of enemies old and new at them if they aren't heroic enough by themselves). Will they turn to the Dark Side to scare their followers away? Will they use diplomacy and social combat to persuade their worshipers to screw off? Or will they simply kill them all and hide the bodies really well?
