The Paths of Clear Air
The Dragon King who masters the Paths of Clear Air understands how to best perceive the myriad details of existence. They may know the history of an artifact with a touch, foresee an enemy's betrayal before it happens, or draw the precise path of a knife before it is thrown.
The Path of Clear Air Excellency
The senses of the Dragon King are supernaturally acute, and her ability to hurl weapons with accuracy and grace is unmatched. This Path is associated with the Abilities of Awareness and Thrown.

Clarity of Sense (Path of Clear Air Mastery *)

This power allows the Dragon King to use the air around her to significantly enhance her senses. For the duration of this power, she may reduce all internal sensory penalties by (her Path rating) and external sensory penalties by (her Path Rating) divided by 2, rounded up.
Touch the Distant (Path of Clear Air Mastery **)

The winds touch the entire world, and the Dragon King is much the same. A target barely visible on the horizon is no different than on within arm's reach to a Dragon King with this power. When making a ranged attack roll, the Dragon King may ignore all penalties due to range. This does not extend the maximum range of the weapon, however.
Visions of Attack and Defense (Path of Clear Air Mastery ***)
Cost: 3m; Type: Reflexive (Step 2)

The Dragon King begins to sense the more subtle patterns in the world, a sense that grants him an increased awareness of danger, as well as how to best cope with it. When the Dragon King is attacked, he may activate this power to negate all penalties to his DV against the attack. If he was not already aware of the attack, this power activates automatically (as long as it is legal for it to do so), granting him awareness of the attack and negating penalties as usual.
Perception of Subtle Flaws (Path of Clear Air Mastery ****)

The Dragon King can sense both the weak point in any single object and the best way to strike the object for maximum possible damage. The attack enhanced with this power gains piercing, if it did not already have it. In addition, if attacking an inanimate object, this attack doubles the damage done after soak.
Ancient Understanding (Path of Clear Air Mastery *****)
Cost: 5m, 1wp; Type: Simple

Duration: Instant
The Dragon King touches a person or object and learns its secrets. The character makes a (Perception + Lore) roll; if successful, she may ask the Storyteller one relatively short question about the person or object. The answer to the question can contain no more than a dozen words, and can only cover the history or current state of the object or person - the future remains unknown. Intentions are valid topics, but any being so examined may well change their intention after this power's use.
The difficulty for the roll is 1 for mundane objects, (the target's permanent Essence) for characters, and (the artifact or Manse rating) divided by 2, rounded down for artifacts or Manses. Artifacts rated N/A cannot be queried in this manner. The answer received is always true and gained instantly upon the power's activation.
Impossible Clarity of Perception Technique (Path of Clear Air Mastery ******)
Cost: 7m, 1wp; Type: Simple

Duration: One day
The Dragon King who uses this power gains the ultimate clarity of their senses. They can instantly pierce all forms of mundane deception and disguise. Anyone using mundane disguise techniques is immediately recognized in their true appearance. Everyone and everything that is hidden is revealed to the character's gaze unless concealed by magic. (This reduces the time to search a scene to a miscellaneous combat action instead of a dramatic action and makes it impossible for later investigators to determine that the scene was searched; see pg 136 of the Exalted core for more information.) This power adds one half (the Dragn King's Path rating) to contested rolls against magical concealment.
