Since you're sending a lot of questions my way and you appear to be fairly new, let me go ahead and clarify something. I'm not the developer, nor am I part of White Wolf's excellent staff. I'm just a freelance writer and Exalted fan lucky enough to get paid to geek out. This is my side job, which I do for the love of the game, the love of writing and a bit of extra spending cash.
I'm not qualified to definitively answer questions about material I didn't write, and any interpretations of my own material are non-canon (if you care about such distinctions) until such time as they see print in some form. I'll be happy to be of help if I can point you to answers when you have questions about my work, but in general, I don't answer questions about other material because it's not mine to answer.
Yeah this has annoyed me for a while. People have this cult of personality surrounding poor Neph, and they seem to think that he has all the answers. I have nothing against Neph and if anyone deserves a Cult its him, but people seem to forget that he's not the only writer in Exalted. Just my franc - Paladinltd
I have the same sort of feelings towards Borgstrom, coincidentally . . . only without the concessions you make. - Andrew02
- Destroy the non-believer! -- OhJames, templar of the Borgstrom faith
- Concessions? You mean about the Neph deserving a Cult or liking Neph? As for the cult thing, well that was me trying to be nice. I don't think anyone deserves a cult, but Borgstrom's doesn't annoy me as much. Bogstrom's cult consists of more veterans, most of whom have played Nobilis, and they generally keep to themselves. Neph's cult is made up mostly of n00bs who cling to every word he says, mostly because of his cool charms and the fact that his name is listed under a hefty amount of Exalted products.
- As for the liking part, well to each his own. - Paladinltd
