Official Version

Sinuous Striking Grace

Cost: 1 mote per +1 Initiative
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Min. Dexterity: 1
Min. Essence: 1
Prereqs: Body-Weapon Technique

Add up to your Dexterity to one's initiative for a round. See pg. 136 of the Lunar fatsplat.

Blaque's Version

The cost of this Charm is now 1 mote for +2 initiative ticks. The most the Lunar can add with this Charm si still Dexterity, however.

CrownedSun's Version

The cost of this Charm is 1 mote per +2 initiative ticks, as in blaque's version. However, the limit is now that the character cannot spend more motes on this charm than his Dexterity. This allows him to add +2(Dexterity), instead of +(Dexterity). See below for reasoning.

Comments

This cost is based on Martial Arts Charms which add MA to one's initiative at about this cost. As well as Flight of Mercury, a scene long Charm that costs the same. I feel that Instant effects hsould cost half as much as the equivailent scene long effects int eh case of adders liek this. Atleast.

Stuff. Blaque.

snip a comment: Actually, I was wrong; my version raises the dice adder cap, so I'm going to put it up there for a few reasons. Mostly because in Power Combat, unarmed Lunars get really raped by weapon speeds and this charm would help compensate for that if it the cap was raised a bit. Also because for 3 motes, a Solar can just /go first/ all the time and Sidereals have similar capabilities. Lunar Dexterity is also expensive in DBT, so that's not a hugely good reason either, IMHO. -- CrownedSun

It's okay. They don't have to go first. They're lunars. - Morpheus
