Shearing down into hearts of the waves about him with a jacknife of agonising Essence, the Infernal maims the sea horribly. A storm is created about the Infernal’s ship, a number of miles wide equal to his permanent Essence. Sail Charms
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b275/InfernalExalted/Sail.png
The theme for this tree is the embracing of corruption.
Her Great Envoy
- Cost: 3 motes, 1 Willpower
- Duration: One day
- Type: Simple
- Minimum Sail: 2
- Minimum Essence: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: None
The Infernal weaves a visage about him as ambassador to all the horrors of the oceans. His crew may resent his commands and feel the urge to mutiny all they wish, but something stops them – the instinctual fear that however terrible the Infernal’s leadership, without his protection things would be worse. No creature with an Essence lower than the Infernal’s own will attempt to rebel or overthrow him whilst they remain upon water. If they are attempting such when this Charm is activated, they must pass a Conviction check or have their efforts flounder.
King Of Vermin Stance
- Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower
- Duration: One scene
- Type: Simple
- Minimum Sail: 4
- Minimum Essence: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Her Great Envoy
The Infernal aggrandises himself further; to his crew, he is no simple ship’s captain but the ocean itself, their way of life, their well-being and everything they hold dear. They may spend points of Willpower and channel Virtues in his service and defence, even if extras, and frequently do.
Wave Lashing Discipline
- Cost: 3 motes
- Duration: One scene
- Type: Reflexive
- Minimum Sail: 3
- Minimum Essence: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: Her Great Envoy
Standing at the stern of his ship, the Infernal extends a terrifying presence that tames even the wildest seas. The rolling of his ship keeps company with his footsteps, and the roughest waves are harnessed to bouy his craft exactly where he needs it. The Infernal suffers no penalties due to harsh weather when piloting his craft, and need not check to maintain his balance whilst on board.
Hardship’s Loving Hands
- Cost: 6 motes, 1 Willpower
- Duration: One day
- Type: Simple
- Minimum Sail: 3
- Minimum Essence: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Her Great Envoy
The rigours of live on decks are as meat and wine to the Infernal; the embrace of famine, fatigue, sickness and disease are as welcome as the luxuries of life on land. Whilst this Charm is active and the Infernal is upon the sea, he need not eat, sleep, or make checks against seasickness. His wound penalty is decreased by 1. This immersion in corruption eventually corrupts the user also; after a number of sequential days equal to the Infernal’s Stamina, use of this Charm further deals a health level of aggravated damage for each successive day used. Only when this damage is healed does the Exalt have free use of this Charm once more.
Bilge And Flotsam Bombardment
- Cost: 8 motes, 1 Willpower
- Duration: One scene
- Type: Simple
- Minimum Sail: 4
- Minimum Essence: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Hardship's Loving Hands
The Infernal runs slivers of chittering Essence into his ship’s cannons and ballistae, and his own caustic nature powers their assaults. Any roughly analogous material can be loaded instead of their common ammunition – planks of wood on ballistae, sawdust on firedust cannons – and empowered so deals the damage of their normal counterparts. If conventional ammunition is used instead, the Infernal’s Essence is added to their raw damage after soak.
Weeping Convulsion Assault
- Cost: 10 motes, 1 Willpower
- Duration: One scene
- Type: Simple
- Minimum Sail: 5
- Minimum Essence: 4
- Prerequisite Charms: Wave Lashing Discipline, Bilge And Flotsam Bombardment
Shearing down into hearts of the waves about him with a jacknife of agonising Essence, the Infernal maims the sea horribly. The water weeps clouds of biting spray, convulses with colossal waves, and screams with terrible gales. A storm is created about the Infernal’s ship, a number of miles wide equal to his permanent Essence. The difficulty of all piloting rolls within its bounds is increased by the Exalt’s Essence, unless pre-existing conditions would otherwise be worse. All crew in those limits with a Sail score lower than the Infernal’s own must check to maintain balance. Staying afloat if knocked overboard is a Strength + Athletics roll with a difficulty equal to the Infernal’s Essence.

Rock. I totally fail to see what WW can come up with for their Infernals that comes close to the sort of stuff you turn out. - Falcon
I'm beginning to agree. Still, they may well just copy the best bits and add their own flavour. They've done it before. The question is... can you get into the credits for it ^_^
