<B>Notes:</B> I have issues with Resources as presented in Exalted. Kori is a smith. Kori therefore needs smithing tools and resources, and may have stock of weapons or jewelry or etc on hand as well. If memory serves, the <I>mundane</I> tools alone are worth Resources 3-4 per set. (Although I could cheat and pick up a 3-dot artifact that covers her Air needs and a 4-dot artifact that covers her Fire needs, sorta.) Which means that a smith character needs Resources <I>5</I> in order to start off with tools, raw materials, and <I>any</I> completed items, legally, because if you're Resources 4 and you make a Resources 4 purchase you go down to Resources 3. Even if the smith in question is, say, a small village smith who should not be financially on par with a merchant prince (yet), but still needs a working blacksmith's forge. So right now, she's at Resources 2 to represent either her personal standard of living (with everything else funneled into the smithy), or to represent the fact that she hasn't set up shop for herself yet (and any extra money made off Twilight-quality sales is being funneled straight into making more things).
