* Eh, the broader implications never worried me too much. I figure you have to have a certain level of cool to be able to access these Charms, the kind of cool that comes from being a PC or a Major Villian. But I think I'll add a cavet about these new principles being not quite as solid as the ones incepted by the True Primordials seeing as most attempting this would be a shaped raksha as I mentioned that all of the unshaped that would have been inclined to do this, already have done so. The question then becomes how to do this without rendering the Ability utterly useless... -MadGreenSon

:I don't really see that as needed. You are going to be buying many of the Prerequites multiple times, after all - and these dimi-Primordials are not that hard to kill (in fact, in some ways their easier to kill then they were before). - Dasmen

Prerequisite Charms: Harmonious Primordial Spirit, Ecstatic Reproduction Style

Each time the Raksha buys this charm (which must be done in a place where he may use Ecstatic Reproduction Style, like a Freehold or the Wyld) he creates, using one of his Graces, a heroic commoner that perfectly represents the aspect of his personality that the Grace represents, or in the case of the Heart Grace, a facet of his truest desires and purest glory. The creature is a bound subisiary entity who serves the Raksha loyally and at all times knows his will. The raksha still has full attunement to his own Graces and the servant may use the Grace he was created from as his own as well for purposes of Charms, shaping and damage. The first time a Raksha buys this charm, the Heart Grace is the Grace that must be used for the forging of the servant creature, all further purchases may be used to forge the remaining Graces. If used for additional Graces, such as the Mask or Way Grace, the Raksha must have a rating of 4 in the Grace before this Charm can be bought for that Grace. This is a very unusual example of hidden lore, this charmand those that follow it, unlike other Raksha Charms costs 12 exp to purchase for raksha and cannot be purchased by any creature without a true Heart Grace. If the Heart Grace Servant is ever truly killed, the Raksha must immediately spend 1 permanent Esence and 1 permanent Willpower to regenerate him, as he does this, the raksha’s castes both change to new castes and the new Heart Grace servant will reflect this. If the Raksha cannot pay the cost to regenerate the Heart Servant, he and any other servants are immediately obliterated in a wash of oblivion. If any other Servant is truly killed, he may be regenerated by the Raksha by simply paying the cost of the Ecstatic Reproduction style, the lesser servants are regenerated in full by this measure.

Heart Grace Servant: The central spirit, the core of the raksha’s being is now embodied in this creature, the only servant to be considered a noble, of the opposite caste to the creating raksha. For example, an Eshu’s Heart Servant would be a Xia. The Heart Servant should be created as a beginning noble with a Birth rating of 5 and an additional 10 bonus points.

Sword Grace Servant: The conquering spirit, this heroic Warrior embodies the aggressive side of his creator and is created as a beginning Heroic commoner with a Birth rating of 5 and 10 additional bonus points.

Ring Grace Servant: The progenitive spirit, this heroic Worker embodies the creative side of his creator and is created as a beginning Heroic commoner with a Birth rating of 5 and 10 additional bonus points.

Staff Grace Servant: The messenger spirit, this heroic Diplomat embodies the courtly, communicative side of his creator and is created as a beginning Heroic commoner with a Birth rating of 5 and 10 additional bonus points.

Cup Grace Servant: The indulgent spirit, this heroic Entertainer embodies the artistic, manipulative side of his creator and is created as a beginning Heroic commoner with a Birth rating of 5 and 10 additional bonus points.

Way Grace Servant: The questing spirit, this servant may be created as either a Warrior or an Entertainer, emboding the visonary and ambitious aspects of his creator and is created as a beginning Heroic commoner with a Birth rating of 5 and 10 additional bonus points.

Mask Grace Servant: The concealing spirit, this servant may be created as either a Worker or a Diplomat, emboding the decietful and adapatable aspects of his creator and is created as a beginning Heroic commoner with a Birth rating of 5 and 10 additional bonus points.

Good lord... These things could be nigh unstoppable with these charms... (shudders) ~ Insanewizard

    • When coming up with challenges for 4+ Essence Celestial Exalted, Ya gotta reach for the _POWER_ and that's what I did...MadGreenSon

Not bad. I've never really gone with the idea that the Primordials were Fair Folk, but these charms do give the bases of such an evelution. I think that you've kind of skipped a few steps along the way, but its still good. I would have made Inception of Principle essence 9 because creativity is harder then imatation, but... whatever - Dasmen

    • Thing is, a shaped raksha undergoing this process is not really going to become a full-on Primordial, but just something close to it. More like a 3rd Circle Demon. Any unshaped that were willing to take up this process, apparently already have done so(i.e. Gaia, Autocthon, the Yozi and the Malfeans). -MadGreenSon

Wait... if you make yourself an exemplar of a concept that isn't on anyone else's character sheet, how could you ever roll it? It's a new world-thing, and that's cool, but where could it possibly intersect with anyone else's world. So, "yes! I am now the epitome of marshnigling. I marshnigle with five automatic successes. In any contest of marshnigling, I win!" Of course, no one will ever marshnigle against you, and your marshnilging will never help you in anything. What's the point, or am I missing something? -Seraph

Because as soon as you put it on your character sheet, it also appears on everyone elses. When Primordials die, concepts disapear from the world - ideas go away. Other ideas may grow to conver some of the lost ground, but some of it is lost forever. As an example, you could make 'Science' a skill. Then everyone would have it, and people could begain to research things in a way that is impossible to do in creation right now, because some of the nessesary underpenning needed for 'Science' don't exist yet.Dasmen
    • Exactly! So you can get something like this: As the Demi-Primordial embodying, among other things, Marshingling. Ivory Dragon has an incomparable mastery of the Marshingling ability, which is also available to everyone else. Marshingling is, as defined by it's inceptor, Ivory Dragon, the Ability that governs forcefully blowing air out of your mouth. Now, exhaling air wasn't anything special before Marshingling existed, but now it can both be stunted easily and Charms and Sorcery can be developed around it and entire schools of theory and even "martial arts" styles devoted to it. Ivory Dragon, as the one who both created Marshingling and is very innately good at it and can blow like nobody's buisness. Additionally charms such as Assumption of the Marshingled Form can be developed which allow a raksha to take on a form built on blowing air out of your mouth and Solar Sorcery effects can be developed by Ivory Dragon that invoke the true awsomeness of Marshingling (Superman anyone?)... Ok that's demented, but ya see what I mean, right?- MadGreenSon
    • Addendum: It's actually a lot like the raksha using these charms is becoming an Imperator in Nobilis. They can end up representing a varied and wierd assortment of concept or a unified whole. one could end up being the Demi-Primordial embodying Strength, Charisma, Melee, Conviction, Ride, Craft, Willpower, Kzzrgh and Medicine, or One representing Strength, Dexterity, Wits, Melee, Martial Arts, Athletics, Valor, Conviction, Kzzrgh and Marshingling. The first is kind of a grab bag and the second is focused on badassery. Imperators can be like either, so can Primordials, eh? (BTW: Kzzrgh is the 6th dawn ability, which involves inflicting physical harm by force of personality and body odor.) - MadGreenSon
    • Second Addendum, I'm gonna add a section to my Userpage to work out new traits for potential Inception of Principle use Here -MadGreenSon

I see. I stand corrected. This is cool. -Seraph
Hrmm. Inception of Principle has a total of 18 prerequisites. (That's 108 experience), and requires Essence 7 (which takes 144 experience from Essence 3). This means that, in theory, any Fair Folk of 252 experience or higher could have this Charm. Time limits become an issue, of course, but any raksha of (IIRC) 250+ years defining an entirely new parameter of Creation? Ggg, that is worrisome to me, especially as it could be done 7-8 times. The Charm is incredibly awesome, but needs an Essence requirement of 9 or 10. - FrivYeti
  • Eh, the broader implications never worried me too much.
I don't really see that as needed. You are going to be buying many of the Prerequites multiple times, after all - and these dimi-Primordials are not that hard to kill (in fact, in some ways their easier to kill then they were before). - Dasmen
