 Other possessions: War horse and supplies to feed, home in Icehome, furnishes, other odds and ends. A servant or two?
 Limit Trigger: The character fights against losing odds, is challenged to single combat by a foe or otherwise has 
 an opportunity to prove his bravery.

Appearance

Inevitable Frost is a pale skinned man appearing to be in his late twenties with jet black hair that is left just 
long enough to warrant being pulled back by a leather cord. Underneath a few black bangs are a set of blue eyes 
and a weather beaten face. He has a solid frame and stands at about 5'11 or so. His attire consists of a woolen 
dark blue long sleeved shirt and a set of brown pants of the same material. They are tucked into a pair of thick 
black travelling boots while his hands are sheathed in a set of like coloured gloves. Over this he wears his 
usual armor, a reinforced buff jacket with a belt wrapped around his waist and from his left hip to right shoulder. 
Hanging at his side is a sheathed sword while strapped to his back is a quiver and longbow.

History

Inevitable Frost hails from Icehome, the center of the Haslanti League. Born to a moderately large family with many 
brothers and sisters both older and younger than him, his parents may have had issues with supporting them all had 
his father not been a long time member of the Haslanti military with all of the children following suit as they 
became old enough to join up. It was into this sort of family he was born into, taught how to handle a sword up 
until he was old enough to join with the Haslanti military at the age of fourteen. A year of duty at 
Icehome for training and easy duties passed before he was transferred to places further north to keep things secure 
against barbarians that hadn't agreed to a peace with the Haslanti League.
It was there he spent ten years of his life, surviving both fighting and freezing temperatures. He learned how to 
survive in said freezing temperatures, how to handle a multitude of weapons when needed and the basics of strategy. 
His father eventually was killed in battle, as were a fair few of his siblings. He managed to survive at least, 
though in the last year of his stay there things for a lack of better term with south when his unit was ambushed by 
a group of icewalkers while on patrol. The first salvo of arrows before they charged into the group took out their 
commander along with most of the soldiers. With only a handful left to attempt to repel the charge a fighting 
retreat was called, Inevitable Frost and two other men covering the retreat with everything they had and then some. 
Eventually his two companions were dragged down thanks to superior numbers while those who had been fleeing had 
been finished by yet more icewalkers. Surrounded by the barbarians on his own and already winded and wounded, Frost 
merely readied his sword to fight to the end. As they moved to finish him though, things changed. His blade wasn't 
as heavy in his hands. His wounds sealed up. His exhaustion faded. The first assualt was easily turned aside and 
the offending icewalker cut apart in the riptose. The second didn't even manage to swing before he was removed from 
the mortal coil. Up and down his sword arm went, even going as far as to scoop up the weapons of the fallen and use 
them when his own broke. When the last drops of blood were spilled and none other than him were standing the area 
was awash in a storm of gold light with the same tinges of red in the snow. 
Once the anima display of his Exaltation had died down Inevitable Frost returned to where he was based out of, 
telling the story with only a few modifications to disguise the fact he had become one of the Ascending Suns. Later 
investigations would later bare it out that it was one of the tribes united under the Bull of the North, 
highlightning Haslanti's need for information about the Anathema. With that he 
finished out the year of service, taking care in not revealing himself as an Anathema. Of course, it is hard to 
hide one's Exaltation and rumors are already beginning to fly that he has at least gained some god's favor or 
something of the supernatural variety. 
Since then he's been travelling throughout Haslanti, taking on jobs to assist their military from time to time on a 
regular basis. The money is good and it allows him to help strengthen his homeland. Now it's simply a matter of 
time he thinks until the Bull of the North comes to further his own gains since crushing the Tepet legions. When he 
comes he will find that Haslanti has an Anathema of her own to match him. Of course, if he takes too long Frost 
will have enough resources and skills to go to him instead of waiting for him to come south...

Backgrounds

Manse: A small structure set into a hill in the southeast Hasalanti near the coastline, it serves Frost as a 
secondary residence of sort. A small circular set of five rooms with the Hearthstone chamber in the center, he 
keeps it stocked with supplies so if needed he can spend at 
least a week there. Within the Hearthstone chamber was the resting place of the Perfect Companion, an artifact 
weapon able to be used in a variety of ways.

Resources: No business like the fine art of killing people in a variety of ways and helping out the military.
Influence (Haslanti): The tale of his surviving the ambush secured at least a foot note in those from Icehome. His 
continued work across Haslanti in the military has only furthered this. Of course, there is the whole issue that 
some people figure he has a supernatural blessing of some sort...
