Her name was Lark, and she was nothing much to look at - just a girl in old fashioned Shogunnate Hakama, wearing an ordinary enough slashing sword, or so it would seem untill she drew it, revealing the delicate Orichalcum blade. A Solar who distained Daiklaives and all things that proclaimed in grand, bold words the Superhuman nature of the the Exalted, Lark prefered to pretend to be a gracefull, gentle swordswoman of some tallent, possibly god-blooded, possibly not. Her sword, after all, could be weilded by anyone - it was just a mortal sword; very well forged in one of the five magical metals, yes, but neither so heavy that a mortal could not use it nor so ornate that it would seem to be exotic while sheathed. She named it the Whisper of Dawn, and from fragments of hundreds of lives, called herself Quiet Bird.

Lark has wandered through several campaigns now, quietly walking from one corner of creation to another slaying evil where she finds it. Her journey has taken her to some ulikely places and the arrogance she doesn't beleive she actually has has lead her to cause a lot of trouble. It's a very good thing that she isn't interested in settling down - for in her life now, the Wyld hunt is only a few steps behind.

Once, though, the Quiet Bird had to walk home to threshold from Gem, and on the way, she passed thorugh Thorns.
