Attributes

Appearance is how you present yourself physically and your ability to control your appearance. It is not just how beautiful you are, although it contains an element of this, because if you're able to control your appearance you're able to make yourself seem more physically attractive. You might roll appearance if you wanted to make a good physical impression on someone, or if you wanted to convince someone without speaking to them that you are harmless. Compared to this, Charisma and Manipulation are ways of convincing people of things in a way which has much more to do with speach. You can speak to someone and convince them of something using one of these abilities, depending on the situation.
