Hedge-Magic Effects

Until the player's guide comes out, some preliminary rules on hedge magic. These rules are trimmed for a specific character in the campaign.

Character Concept (Twilight)

- Hedge-Magic - God-blooded (grandmother is a forest spirit) - Twisted by his master to worship of the Malfeas - Motivation: learn more about magic, find his grandmother - Soundtrack: ExorcistTidesOfTime/Enya - Theme: The Two Faces - Developments: transformation from Malfeas to Creation -- Shifting shadows when angered -- Depressions -- Voices -- elemental effects show decay

   e.g. Spiritual armor consists of withered leeves

Create lesser artifact

Cost: 10 motes, 1WP Duration: 1 week Int+Occult(3) - additional successes reduce the creation time by one day each. This can be used to create a level 1 artifact.

summon shadows from beyond

5 motes / creature , 1WP Int+Occult(3) - additional successes add one point to stats Summons (max. Essence) shadows from Malfeas. SPD:7 ACC:4 DMG: 4L DEF:4

Summon spirtual armor

-> Games of Devinity Int+Occult(3) 5 motes, 1WP a garb of leaves forms around the character


Benediction of the Wood Dragon

-> Games of Devinity allows minor changes to the environment requires the consent of the local forest spirit or wood elemental

Blessing

Cost: 5 motes, 1WP Duration: 1 week Int+Occult(3), spend extra successes for: - 1 Change ability by one dot - 3 Change attribute by one dot - 1 Prolongs the duration by one day

cannot modify ability/attribute by more than Essence

Curse

same as above
