There are explanations for why you might play any of them. I wanted to put in all the stats so you can play games set when those funny hairless apes the Primordials created recently are still sweeping the streets and whatnot in-between shifts spinning the prayer wheels. With that stuff in there, it seemed like a waste to not have some justiication for why you can't play a giant battle-ankylosaur if you really really want to. People would do it anyway, might as well just anticipate reality. =)
